Just back from spending a few days on The Bourbon Trail. Went 2 years ago and brought back 23 bottles - 2 were gifts. Swore we wouldn't bring back that many....brought back 25: 1 was a gift to me, 2 are gifts for others and 23 are ours. Fail. :D:thumbsup:

WOW! Everyone I can see is a favorite. If I had to pick just one Id go with the Eagle Rare 10 Year Bourbon. Actually you choose Mark. Just pour me one.
Actually think I’ll have a glass tonight while doing some shrimp on the barbie.
    Very nice collection Mark.

    Afternoon all:

I know the feeling Mark, kind of like when I get into the fishing isles at Cabela's, I just can't seem to contain myself! :)

Ah Ha, so they do make a Daytona Coupe kit, I have never seen one on the street.

An old friend of mine stopped at the house today, he looks great but I never would have recognized him after not seeing him for about 45-50 years, definitely a different look from when I last saw him. Strange thing is, I was thinking about him a couple months ago, and then out of nowhere he shows up.

And to think I walked proudly out of the grocery store the other day with an inexpensive bottle of cabernet sauvignon. :D

For whatever reason I haven’t been much of a drinker lately, a yeungling or glass of wine on occasion or a margarita when out to dinner.

Oh, I just had my second cataract surgery and both eyes are great now. I chose the laser surgery and no regrets the expense was well worth it. I got the long distance monofocal lenses for driving and now use reading glasses when needed. No desire for the bi/tri lenses my brain likes things simple. I did have a toric lense to fix the astigmatism in one eye. Had no pain at all just a little itching in one eye first day. Everything is brighter and whiter with more color. Had no idea it would be this easy!

Absolutely. So wonderful to see them so close to home.

the only car I drove for real in the Cobra family is the Tiger. Crazy fast and a lot unpredictable. So fun! My neighbor had it and his son and I drove it to Santa Cruz. I was 18.

The white number 98 car is the one from the Ford versus Ferrari movie.

These cars are all original Cobras and there is a history sheet with every one. They also have a ton of the original tooling and machines that were used by Carol Shelby.

I had my eyes corrected a year ago. So far so good. I do have some reading glasses lying around in strategic places and a prescription pair in my pocket, so they are there when I need them.

    Happy Birthday @Tacoma Mike :hbd:

Good morning. Starting a deep clean on the sheds today and I have a 11am appointment with the Maryland Department of Veteran Affairs. Took the Avalon to an upholstery shop yesterday to get an estimate to beef up the padding for the two front seats in the seating area. Goes into the shop on Monday the 8th of May. We have two long road trips this summer and the upgrade will be nice.
