60+ year old thread.

Happens to the best of us Carl. I thought I paid the water/sewer bill one time and they nailed me with the bill plus late fees plus acollection fee.
That one really hurt. Just have to bite the proverbial bullet on this one.

 

Around here you get a courtesy call if you've missed paying something. It doesn't go straight to collections and an additional fee. I get courtesy calls because even though I get my taxes back in December I pay them monthly.

 

Yea, it would be nice if they first sent out a notice prior to handing it over to a collection agency. I have no way of knowing if I never got the bill, or if I somehow missed it and chucked it, like I said, I wrote a check for just over 3k that somehow didn't include the $9.80 that is on a separate sheet, which I have for all the other years.

 

Well, 1 of 2 things out of the way.




My PopLock looked pretty sad. No amount of black restorers could fix it. So, some gloss black and clear made it match my door handle covers.

Trailer wiring is done except I need a stupid cheap bracket. The clam clamp I had was not a Curt...and it matters for Pete's sake. It will sit in the bumper until I get it.

 

How bout an ice cold saspirilla, there, buddy?

 

I just got that clamp. I like the looks of it...meaning it looks like I can plug.the trailer end in one handed. Time will tell.

Come to think of it I think all the wiring I used and the clamp were Curt.

I took advantage of yesterday's gorgeous weather to start cleaning up my old junker. After 27 years of owning it, this '96 BMW Z3 still brings a smile to my face. After it cooled down, I waxed it and will clean out the interior today - then it's time to hit the roads.
