Thanks Kurt. And as always, thanks for posting the pictures of some really great looking cars

Hi Carl, first and very possible last cruise. Too many people and some were exceptionally rude :annoyed:. The wife told me to calm down and keep my tongue in check:eek:.
With I-95 shut down for ???? It is going to be a real cluster you know what :facepalm:with diverting all,the traffic. Fortunately no cars on 95 were involved. They were still trying to determine if anyone is still under the overpass . Time will tell.

We had a good rain most of the night last night. It was much needed. It's been weeks since it rained. But back on the ebike for the work commute today. Nice cool Temps. In the 50s this morning heading to the upper 60s maybe low 70s today.

Been watching on the news about the bridge collapse on I-95 near Philadelphia, traffic is bad enough there and they are saying it will take quite a while to repair it, plus the opposite lanes are also compromised, going to be a mess for a lot of people.

A friend just sent me this on how to get overon I-95.....

Exactly true about tourists. Being from San Francisco, I've had my share of rude tourists. One would be tempted to list certain ethnicities as being worse than others in boorish behavior as tourists, but the lessons taught in the novel "The Ugly American" are not limited to how we act in foreign lands.

    Sigh.... things were going slowly....

The right one in the pic is how they say to do it; 'flat side out.' The one on the left is how it needs to be. Undo 4 times.

Now this one's really for Tom, @95SLE ! And no, I didn't make it - I just ate it.

    20230612_183431.jpg

Pork tenderloin, spring mix greens, strawberries, and some goat cheese. Made just so. Delicious meat summer salad for when it's still 90*+!
If you're interested, I told my wife I need the link, and I can DM.
Heck, if anyone else is interested, I'll just drop it on the page.

Good morning all. Had a pucker moment this morning riding to work. Heading south on I-83 when a young deer decided to WALK out onto the interstate in front of me. Now I had sufficient time to brake and drop speed but the deer just very casually stopped in the middle of the right lane, where I was riding, before turning around to go back into the woods. I was unsure of what it was going to do so I was down to about 15 mph when a very rapidly approaching car who likely couldn't see the deer in front of me flew past me on the left at about 75 close enough to me that the air pushed me around on the bike. Definitely a sphincter clenching moment.

    Good Morning Porch Folks :hattip:

 that could have been a major problem for you Chuck...glad you didn't have any issues with the deer or car . Too many people don't see or respect people on motorcycles and give them some room. Be safe out there :amen:.

Deer hunting with a motor vehicle of any kind isn't fun. I've had a couple of those close calls over the years, but never on a bike. I probably wouldn't have had a pucker moment more on the side of needing good bath.

I hit one on a bike back in 2002. I was on my way home from a doctor appointment where I learned I had a a hernia. That was NOT a good day.

I’ve had two. A cat and a dog.

lucky I didn’t go down and the animals ran off after I hit them..
Worse thing is a evasive move at high speed.

    I killed a Corolla with a moose in 2006 ... I don't recommend it ... but hey, of the three (moose/car/me), I'm the lone survivor. :)
