In the door track?? o_O -- --

It never crossed my mind they would ever be in there - I'll never touch a garage door again without thinking about this now. :(

Lost my trimmer string too, looked in 2 garages and 2 vehicles, still haven't found it.

The garage door faces east so they crawl into the track to get the heat from the morning sun.....and then ride it up as the door opens.

I looked up the bike on the internet. To see the difference, looked like your seat is a big improvment from a stock bike even though the reviews said that the bike was comfortable on long rides.

Visit a few FJR specific forums and read what real world owners think of the stock seat......This seat was a rework of the first seat Seth Laam built for me. The cover had started to split after 9 years and roughly 140k miles so I reached out to him about getting it refreshed. While my custom seat was out for rebuild I put on a spare stock seat that I have and used it for about 6 weeks. 250 miles on the stock seat is about my personal limit anymore. The edges of the seat are kind of squared off and after a couple of hours begin to dig into the backs of your thighs. The cushioning itself is rather hard and unforgiving. There is no way I could have done last weekends trip on a stock seat. My Laam built seat ......my butt was among the least of the things that bothered me.
The bike itself is comfortable, the stock seat not so much.

Good morning all. Have a great day!

I don't mind snakes but I wouldn't like them surprising me like that.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/snake charmers. It's official -- I'm a geezer. Got my first Social Security payout a couple of days ago. The way my luck runs I was pretty sure they were going to shut down the government and stop the checks! But it came through.

When I was about 10 or 12 my dad and I cut down an apple tree for my aunt. She swore a snake lived it. "Snakes don't live in trees!" said pop. He was cutting off a hollow branch and, wouldn't you know it, a great big black snake fell out -- cut in half by the saw! Aunt Janice was right.

    Good Morning Porch Folks :hattip:

We have black snakes in our place upstate. They help to control the mouse population in the fall when the mice start heading in for the winter which is a good thing. They are an evil necessity :D.

Yup - my grandpa Fuller had a big black rat snake in his barn in Indiana, we were forbidden to mess with. Never fell on anyone I heard of - but would make you jump when you found it in the harness or other wonderful spaces kids explore....... My uncle told me that they would deliberately catch a one and turn it loose in there if it was determined that they needed a new resident. That barn also had bats and cats........

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals, MQQSE, & Sue! Looking for that picture of the 6 foot rattler that came through the yard a while back. Wife even called the cops on it. Escaped in the dark, killed across the street, and I have a pic somewhere.... I've learned to leave small ones be, as they are probably just garden snakes anyway, and disappear after I see them once. Anything big, I have a problem!

Did some professional erranding yesterday, and it's muck the pond filters today. And the weekly drip check in the greenhouse. Ooooh!

LOL... I think I can relate. I just got my eyes done, cataracts and lenses, and am having to relearn how to see up close using readers. So far I have four pair.

And I'd rather have ten snakes than one pregnant mouse.

Had a good fathers day. My beard is getting big, but with this Texas heat, I am way overdue for a marine haircut!

This might be part of the drip problems; at the source.

We'll see. Still need to check them.
