Watched a bad storm dissipate as it crossed the IN/OH line yesterday, during the heat of the day. Didn't get any rain, but wind direction changed to west, helping clear the air a bit. Looks like brown air will be a thing for a while.

I've had the top of the line Echo and Stihl trimmers. $200 separates them, and the only value benefit the Stihl had over the Echo was in resell value. Both were easy start to start with, before putting them up I'd pour out the fuel mix, run the carbs dry, stored them with Sta-bil and only used blue ethanol free for my fuel mix. Both started developing carb and running issues, which paled in comparison to the string, heads, and feed issues. We solved these problems pretty easily by selling both, and buying a Cub Cadet walk behind string trimmer. We liked it so much that we bought our son a Toro walk behind for his new home, and both are working fine (ours is four years old, and his is two years old). Both have manual heads in as much as you have to lace the pre-cut string into two specific holders on the bottom of the disk. At first we were buying the pre-cut string, but quickly figured out buying the large rolls of the .105 via Amazon, and cutting it ourselves, cut our costs down by almost 75%.

TY. Batteries are so darn expensive these days. Going into summer it is good to know the battery will do what it needs to do for planned summer trips.

Good morning. Yesterday worked out well for me. Off to the gym then an aquatic's class in the late afternoon. The prime rib came out great. Some may not like prime rib at 130 degrees internal temp.

Good morning all, have a great day!

Mike great pictures of the race car , congratulations on the finishes.

Bucktails thanks for sharing the pics of the clams, glad you enjoyed them, not for me though. I have a sister in law that love's them, but she's done some things that are fairly adventurous. Logging, tree topping, clamming, driving truck and amateur competitive skeet shooting.
My wife is like me. Not something we would ever try. I would rather eat that raw prime rib..... Little rare for me probably about 145° to 150°

    Morning all:

    OH BOY!
Today was the first day to apply for the new Pa. hunting lic. and they made a couple of changes in the process. My hunting buddy called me and asked me if I got mine and how much I had to dish out for the additional tags that we get (bear and doe) that aren't included with our senior lifetime combo license. I told him they were $23 something and he said that he paid over $50. We get the same thing, so somewhere something got messed up and he paid for something that he shouldn't have that is included in the senior combo lic. that we have, hope he can get it straightened out and get a refund.
I went to a local hardware store where the guy probably would have caught the error, he went to Walmart where they probably didn't have a clue, when will he learn!

Good morning all. Little late to the party this morning, power outage over the weekend messed up our firewall at work and we just got internet back up and running.
