Amazing. Probably 50 years in a junkyard, and it still dripping oil. Must be ready to fly!

    Afternoon all:

Half done with mowing, not as hot as I thought it would be.
I NEED A PILLOW! Funny how some pillows don't work at all for me, usually too soft!

Well, next week I'm going to feature a plane! They are more photogenic, and most of them work! I said many times today that I'm down to the last TWO wires. And every time, I was wrong. I BELIEVE there are 4 left, they are all on the bottom, and next week I'm taking my little grinder to get some of the hardware off the brackets I am trying to save.

All of this is on the very bottom of the engine on the stand. I haven't gotten on the ground yet, and don't intend to! I can only see this stuff by taking a picture, and then feeling around. I got this panel off, so on to the plug wire next. Four nuts in the corners - three in the picture.

    20230726_135859.jpg

And on the other side, I seem to have three wires - but on the plug ring I have two ends. That will solve itself at some point. In the second pic, I can barely feel where the end should be, and it needs a 3/4" wrench. Hmmmm....

I HAVE increased the size of my little collection though, and put it in a box they just brought downstairs for me!

That's all the entertainment for today!

Sue it is a "my pillow" it still has loft to it. It just doesn't interfere with the CPAP anymore. My wife wanted what I took out.

No, just working around it much of the afternoon. Their Ford Tri-motor is just amazing to watch flying around. Got to watch the A-10s, FA-18s and F-22s yesterday.

    Very nice.

A original restore is a road few travel. It’s a long road.. sometimes without an end it seems.
However, the time you see this fire off, you will become a part of history yourself.
Only people that go on this journey can truly understand. I wish you a fulfilling trip.

We are still plugging away on the GT.

Good morning all. Just an accounting of my activities this week: The wife is in Italy with her sister and a friend. She left me home alone which is nice. I’ve played golf or pickle ball everyday. I went and saw mission impossible. The bumper on the truck got hit in a parking lot with no note. I found a new one for $300 with all the supports and plastic stuff. I put that on. I also built some hot tub stairs a few days ago. My 2 year grand son said gampa, it looks like a duck.

Good morning. Yesterday was long and rewarding. The neurosurgeon wants two more tests and I set them up for August 18th, I have a busy schedule starting next Thursday. The good news was I have a path that does not involve surgery on the back. Back surgery is not something I want to undergo.

Today is the rescheduled blood and urine test, another round of back therapy and off to the gym. Starting a regiment of weightlifting so I might as well start with a leg day. I also have some grocery shopping to do after the therapy. The HVAC company will be out to do a tune up in the afternoon. Dinner tonight is some of the lake trout we caught back in June. Somehow, I will fit guitar practice into the day.
