    Let me clarify.
Hermits Rest down to the Tonto Trail.
Tonto Trail to Bright Angel Trail.
    Up to rim.
About 25 miles. Best in spring, fall, or winter

In regard to Milwaukee Fuel cordless drive and drill: I have a small M12 that I beat up everyday. I’ve hammered in cement screws and it just keeps going.

A little something every chance we get.
Gooped, squeezed, cured and sealed. And holding water.

    20230806_171059.jpg

I discovered today putting it back, that somewhere along the line, one or the other was replaced. They don't mate - it just sits on top. When it fails....

Mike: I used to go to club meetings back in 06,07,08 and 09 up in CT. Took an hour off my drive time back then. I was happy to see Ohio come into the 21st century on the turnpike a few years back. Even FL does EZ Pass now. Eliminating the tool booths has eased the pain, most of the time, when crossing the Chesapeak Bay Bridge. I do miss the free state maps that were available at every tool booth in MD, but hey today it is all about Waze.

Good morning! Lazy day today, just the gym and a few clean up items around the house. Still a little wore out from all the festivities over the long weekend.

We always stay on track with paper maps. Yes, we use a GPS, but they screw up just often enough to not trust them. We refer to the paper to clarify.
Highway maps aren't much help on small roads, but doable.

    Lol
The last time I was contacted for a school reunion the girl actually called me.
She was a hot ticket but with a shitty attitude back then.

I said no thank you and she pushed my button and asked why not.
    So I said
I want to remember the the good looking energetic kids like they were.
Not the fat, ugly, stoner/drunks they have become.
Don’t want to hear how much money they have made or screwed others out of.
Don’t want to hear the wining of everything hurts.
Plus there are three guys if I saw them I’d pound the shit out of them.
    She goes “Oh”.
I said thanks for the call anyway but the past is the past…

I hear ya . This wasn’t a typical reunion . Just people that were pretty much in the same click that haven’t seen each other in a long time. Was around 25 people from all those classes . My class alone was over 100 kids . Some old friends that I do see a couple times a year some I’ve seen a few times in 43 years and some I haven’t seen in 43 years . The plan is to head back to that bar once a year . Whoever wants to show up will show up . Was all through social media . I live 100 miles from where I graduated. One guy came all the way from Georgia but he also has family in that town .

    DSCN0292.jpg DSCN0291.jpg Afternoon all:

Sort of the same here, some I would be glad to see, others not so much, never went to a HS reunion!

Got to the furnace today, first pic. is the working end with the nozzle and electrodes removed, 2nd pic. is the opposite cleanout end with what is called a scroll in place on the tubes, the good news is that I didn't need to replace the part that I thought I needed to.
Been working on it for 4hrs. and all done but need to put the covers back on it think I'll remove the flue pipe and clean it, it's not that hard, but a PITB because of limited space.

I still have a few close friends from school that I see a few times a year . Some live 100 miles away ( where I grew up ) and my hunting partner is about 150 miles away .
