We've been on a humidity roller coaster this past week. "Pleasant weather" is pretty relative!

Yeah, we hit that. I purposely was NOT looking while I was in the greenhouse. 107* when I came in for shower. But the pool DID cool off to 87* overninght! It almost feels pool like again!

 

Man I don't know how you folks deal with that heat. It just drains me, I'd never go outside, lol. When I was an over the road trucker and went down south I'd never shut the truck off for the ac, lol. I feel for you folks.

Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Hope to wrap up the greenhouse after an errand. Man, it's hot in there! Tomatoes are very sad, peppers are green but doing little. I wouldn't do much if they left me outside all the time!!

Hope you get a break from the pain in the meantime, Mark.

Drove to my afternoon boxing class, 109F on the dash. Passed two cyclists, just hope they were well hydrated.

90 minutes, 60 workouts, 30 deep stretching. Back out to the car, it gets a little toasty in the Texas sun.

Need more gas, but need to wait for it to cool down. Nothing worse than pulling into a station when the sun has been beating
down on the metal and realize you need welding gloves to use the gas pump.

 

Our Fargo little league team lost tonight, our first pitcher walked 6 hit 3 and struck out 8. We got 1 more chance. Just like the PA team. One of the kids on the team is the son of a former co-worker. Good hockey player also, he also referees hockey when not playing. Those coaches are really good with the with the players.

 

It's the heat, I tell you! Must be crazy....

Guy with the 53 Ford I told to get lost, decided to send me a new message after his threatened buyer obviously didn't show. Made me feel better by telling me he raised the price from $22.5 to $32.5!

Found a 36 Ford PU with a Toyota drive train (no kidding!) for $10.5 running! Pic showed it was likely a whole 80--ish 22RE underhood, and the dash to boot! Gone before he answered my request.

WHY am I crazy enough to look at a 49 Stude with a Champ 6 running for $6k? IT'S THE HEAT!!!

 

I used to watch the series with greater interest while I was working at home in the past years. Could just bounce along, and then go YAY KID!

 

I like Stude's. A LOT... One of my fantasy vehicles. I even have a Studebaker pick-up bed trailer because I like them so much.
