First acorns in two years are dropping like hail.
There's been a parade of these Garden Pests feeding on them for the past week. Bucks come in after dark.

    Good Morning Everyone!
    Have a great day!

@bucktales I love watching deer when I can at the cabin, but I never get that close. I keep thinking how tasty they are,.but as luck would be it's out of season.

These "neighborhood" deer are not spooked at all. I'm cutting the grass in a bit and they won't move.
Season opens in a couple weeks, but I don't bother going out till Columbus day. Way too many bugs out and hot temps.
First frost seems to be getting later here.

Coming home from my daughter's on Sunday we saw several does along side the road with a youngster still wearing his spots in the road. I slowed down and blew my horn and the youngster took off out of the road like a bat out of hell and the others just stood looking at me like "was that necessary ".
Like you said Buck, neighborhood deer. They don't spook easy and are used to humans. Just hoped I gave the youngster something to think about when crossing the road.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/itchy trigger fingers. I'm prepping for a trip to Watkins Glen tomorrow; going to watch some vintage race cars try to stay on the black stuff in what promises to be wet sessions. While I'm in the region I'm going to visit a friend who bought a place up there a few years ago. Packing rain gear...
I hear you about the initial pain -- the only thing I've ever had hurt more was a kidney stone.

Sounds like your separation was less severe than mine.

    https://charmaustin.com/separated-shoulder-diagnosis-and-treatment/

My right arm hangs a good 1/2 inch lower than my left. The initial separation was Grade 2 and has not improved over time. If anything the arm hangs lower now than it did at first. But it hurts less -- go figure. (But I'll take it!)

    Morning all:

    :) :annoyed:NOTHING GOES RIGHT!
Just took the "66" out for a scheduled yearly inspection, the guy had no inspection stickers! He ordered his usual 30 inside stickers, and the state sent him 30 trailer stickers instead, he said to call back Mon. to see if he received the stickers that he needs to inspect vehicles.

    Hey Kurt,

It would be best to have a place with a big shop and lots of stuff.

Life with ADD is never dull. Air Hammer (American Flat Sticker) was great for forming aluminum or steel panels. It's a little like "Where is Waldo?" as sharp
eyes will spot the metal lathe hiding in plain sight.

Getting too old to take on any more projects? Anyone need a Index 555 Milling Machine (need to put it on Craigslist for $3500)

I have a neighbor that put up an antenna to capture free TV Signals that are available and he "cut the cable". He swears by it, I've been looking into that idea for awhile now.
I personally don't care what's on TV other than Netflix or Amazon. My spouse watches some shows that I can barely stand being in the same room while they are on...I think she plans it that way! Like "Suits", I didn't realize Maegan Markle was such a "B" Actress!

    Afternoon all:

    Sue!

Just got done with my mental exercise for the day, don't know why, but I picked up another handheld GPS off of e bay for hunting, think that is #6, , it is the only one with a color screen though!
Getting the darn thing configured the way I want it can be challenging, but I somehow managed to get it there, at least I had some idea of how to do it by doing the same to 3 of the others that are similar, biggest problem is remembering how I did it!

    I liked Suits also.
Shes more a "c" actress. Nothing remarkable at all.

Donna was a real character. She carried a lot of the scenes. Sarah Rafferty.

Tom: Nice looking garage shop area. I feel your pain with projects. I am making an effort to complete planned projects. It took 2 days, but the string lights are up and look decent. I lost count of how many times I went to the garage, over 10 times, for stuff I needed to complete the project. However, on a positive note it was only 1 trip to Lowes.;)

Good morning. Yesterday's trip to the ear doc was rewarding. He did not recommend an ear tube but gave me a nasal spray prescription. Pick it up today. Going to repurpose the old HUE Lily spotlights I used for the pond for landscape lighting out back. This will be after shopping trips to 3 different stores and a gym workout.

Good Morning Everyone, enjoy your day!

Got a " non working" generator yesterday cleaned it up a bit and so far I'm happy with it. I was told it didn't start. It hadn't been ran in over 15 years. The gal said it had only been used once. It ran, started up on the 4th pull. I'll do some more testing Monday when I get back but so far fresh gas and oil. The Price was right, It was free because they didn't want to put money into it, thinking the cost of labor wasn't worth it, because it was a 96 model. Snapper 5675/8600 Watt.

Heading west to our tourist town. It should be nice. There is a hot air balloon festival, lot's of things to do along with chances to see buffalo, wild horses.
