:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Coffee and get to mowing. Yeah, thought 106* was too hot yesterday when I got home, supposed to hit an all time high for this date of 108* this afternoon. I should be done by 100*!

The only difference is you have useful stuff! I just have this square in the middle of the useful world, packed solid with non-useful stuff! Oh, and yours is huge.

Good morning. My two week checkup is this morning and I’m doing OK. I am walking slowly unassisted and a little faster using hiking poles as ballast. My physical torturist says I’m way ahead of the curve.

I’m hoping to be cleared to drive.

I pray all is well here I’ve been a hermit……

Best wishes and prayers for your recovery Ivan. Out of everything I missed the most after I had my knee done was driving. Hope you get the go ahead soon.

Yesterday I renewed my California drivers license. Passed the vision test without glasses then took the written test. You can take it up to 3 times, 3 chances. To my shock I failed the first test. Even though I’ve been licensed for almost 60 years I still studied the drivers manual. I was in disbelief. I immediately took test #2, I was pissed. . I passed but missed 3 (you can miss up to 5). In all the past years taking it numerous times I’ve always missed one at most. The questions were tricky , confusing , and somewhat misleading. The ones I missed I do not recall seeing in the driver’s handbook. Before the actual test day I took a dozen practice tests and most I got 100% on. I failed none. Oh well at least I don’t have to worry about it again for another 5 years. Some of the dumb ass dolts I saw there I wondered how they could ever pass the test. Some of those people were knuckle dragging Neanderthals. Maybe they have special Neanderthal tests.
Think I’ll go out and drive the Taco around, just because I can.

I actually participated in one about 35 years ago. I wasn’t last car but I was #3. Don’t think these old bones could take it now a days

Well, I was headed to the San Antonio C&C tomorrow at 0 dark thirty, because I missed the last two, and here is a tease for you!

"GET READY San Antonio! Not only is the weather going to be in the mid 70s tomorrow, but the absolute highlight is we're going to have some ultra rare exotics make an appearance tomorrow!!! Bring your cameras! They will be found in the Reserved Area. HUGE Thank You to the incredibly generous family that is bringing 10 of their amazing automobiles to share with the car community!

Now I did promise the old cop cars I would get some shots of them, after missing several times, so don't be surprised to see a section of them! Because I am NOT getting there for the new opening at 6:30 AM! I may well be parked on the outskirts of show cars with them!

Then, I'm taking Little Big Red to get the tune I won back in June! (and actually, those mid-70's are really upper, and won't last past 0700, but - - what the hey!)

Hey Kurt get some pics of some old p/u trucks if you can. I am a big fan of them. I’m a big fan of all classics and exotics but I have a thing for old pickups (and 65 corvette’s)

Will do my best sir! Been staring at too many on Marketplace. If I see one live, I am always looking! Vettes are usually all in a row, there easy to spot!

Welcome aboard! Pull up a chair, fill the cooler, and don't sit in Mikes recliner! Everything but politics is fair game; how broken we are this week, hunting, fishing, car shows, wish lists, pictures of damn near anything! (Go back a page or two for some great city murals!) Good bunch here.
