My education is Animal Science and when I lived in northern Nevada I was curious enough about the issues that I went out every chance I got to hike around the water sources to search for horse evidence. Roughly ten years. I studied the bodies/skeletons I found for evidence of injury, disease and tried to determine cause of death as much as I could. About fifty percent of foals die before they wean. Adults can live 30 years, but very few make it more than ten. Mares are bred early and if they survive their first parturition they would be bred every year after. Stallions fight whether they have harems or not. The reason you see healthy horses is because they are the ones that are alive. The unhealthy ones die. Parasites, incredibly poor feed, inconsistent water, injury, disease, birthing problems, predation. You don't hear these kinds of things from animal rights sources, mostly because they don't know.

Madora, North Dakota is an old town that has some modern things, they are home to the National Cowboy, Cattleman's Hall of Fame, start of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library opening in 26. The Theodore Roosevelt National Park, south unit north unit is 15 miles away. The western quarter of our state has the mule deer, elk and big horn sheep. Elk, big horn sheep and moose are once in a lifetime seasons for residents. Out of state license for the sheep and elk are very expensive. Animals struggle with winters here and permits let out reflect it. We have CRP acres that are farm land that is open to walk-in hunting, sometimes farmers will plant a small portion with corn that becomes closed to hunting, in the tall growth it's for food and shelter to aid in survival.

    I had a 67. Most fun with a car I ever had.
Also had a 65 street legal dune buggy. 6v and I converted it to 12v.
    Conversion was easy.
I just replaced all the bulbs, battery, and replaced the generator.
I did not switch the 6v volt starter. I could run down the road on the starter it spun do fast lol.
    Never a problem.

Good morning. Raining again this morning. Supposed to clear up later this morning. I am having a problem with a prescription refill and I need to go to the pharmacy to clear up the problem. Another light day to work on an inside project.
