The Vikings are famous for being good at times, but when they suck they suck.

I think Biletnikoff had so much stickum on his arms and shirt that the ball would literally stick to him without having to lay a hand on it!

I think the Eagles got a different team on the field after half time . They played lousy in the first half. Now they are back to status quo :annoyed:

Best thing they did was banning stickum. That goop could make the worst receiver look like a super star :D

Back in the day the entire NFL used stickum. But stickum or no stickum Stabler to Biletnikoff was an amazing unbeatable combination. I was born and raised in Oakland and was a Raiders fan until they moved to Vegas. Although I have a friend who lives in Vegas and has season tickets, said he’d take me to a game.

Always liked Stabler (the snake). Good q-back. Made the game interesting.

I am sure you have been out on the social security website including Medicare. There are an abundance of tools to compare different Medicare plans to help you choose one that fits your lifestyle. Best of luck with the research.

The Lester Hays rule enacted in the 1981 season. I would not mind seeing him in the Football HOF. His stats and playing style should have him in the HOF. And as you know he was an Aggie.

Good morning. Doctors visit yesterday was a consultation. The plan is to do a Laser adjustment to each eye to correct the problem. If that does not work the next step will be painful. Tonight is a boat ride on the Severn River listening to songwriters play their songs. Should be a good time.

Last night I missed the first half of the game. We went to a back yard music event. A 14 yr old played the violin, it was was sponsored event. She did great, lot's of pokas, some swing, stuff you wouldn't have expected. One song her teacher who accompanied her, he said was the Frito Bandito tune, before playing it. Even her patients were to young for that one. She had won several awards for her talent here in the state, by the highschool association.

Back to the Vikings game it was on the radio for me. But I learned years ago you don't bet the house or your wife on them. They have a reputation for setting records, the one's you don't want, a few you do. One year the had the record for the most sacks allowed on a couple QB's Les Steckel was the coach, Archie Manning was the final 3rd string QB. Poor guy end of his playing day's. He talked about that game playing with a concussion but the bears had broken Tommy Kramer leg , did something to the next guy and Archie played with a concussion. He said the center would wave smelling salts under his nose before each play and tell him we're going that way. They have been a good, but let down team for ever. Give you enough hope to watch them and the lay an egg. They've had great players though the years but seem to forget it's a team sport. Big personalities with talent but can't seem to put it together as a team.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/football fanatics. I'll keep my thoughts on that game to myself. :) Let's just say I don't watch.

Regarding Medicare: it's an incredible morass of information overload. I studied it for quite a while, thought I understood it pretty well, and we still went to a broker. It didn't cost us any more to do that -- the insurers cut the broker in for part of their slice. Not sure if any of them work with Tri Care too but I'd be surprised if they don't exist.

Good morning old folks. I just got back from my morning walk and am checking emails, finances, and TW. The seasons are changing. It's cool and darker in the morning. The good fishing season is approaching. Have a great day.

Back from camping at Fish Lake, Utah. No colors yet. Fairly warm in the morning. The campgrounds close for the season today.

Trees are starting to turn here too. We've already had frost in some areas a little north of us.

I've been going crazy on the same subject.

A&B; D (Rx); and G (Gap). The older "N" Supplement was good but unavailable to us kids!

Medicare Advantage: The government gives the money to the insurance company; the company makes money by restricting services and not authorizing treatment. Sounds great if you are never sick or hospitalized! My brother, a triathlete, falls into one checkup a year. He has a $0 premium for his Advantage Plan.

Physical Therapy will have a fixed number of visits under advantage (often 30 visits per calendar year). There are no limits under plain Medicare as long as the doctor says it's needed.

With everything going on for my wife and myself, plain Medicare makes the most sense, but about $1200/mo for us. I'm still working, so I can delay signing up without penalty. "A" is no cost, so it is worthwhile to sign up at 65. "D" is required, but if you have coverage, then you can wait to sign up without penalty.

    No idea about TriCare.
