Glad to hear your loss of power was short lived Mike. A little rain and gusts could have been worse. Glad all is okay

Good Sunday Morning Porch Folks :hattip:

A wee bit chilly this morning 65° but I'll take it over the 90°+ weather.

Have a good day and enjoy the weather (it's sunny here) .

Good morning all. Just catching up. Planned events for today include church, nap, smoking a pork loin, watching football, having the kids and grandkids over for dinner, evening bike ride, more wasted time in front of the TV, and bed. Have a great day.

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Glad to hear of no major ramifications from Lee so far. Our rain is done for awhile - we got all ours Thursday. Yesterday got really windy, really dark, and ......sprinkles. Not measurable. Oh well, 2.33" is a good week!

Love the Ford Maverick. Had one as my first car in highschool. My sister borrowed it and put it square into a tree head on. I had to shoot it.

Had a Maverick Grabber 302 car for a short. Grabber Yellow and Orange. Sold it to a buddy who totaled it 2 weeks later after smacking a deer on the Merritt Parkway here in ct.
    Scary quick car.

    Good day everyone.
Nice cars, @bucktales, that Vega turns a few heads' I'm sure. They had that 4 cylinder that developed a little oil consumption. Better than the pinto that liked to burst into flames of it got rear-ended.

Had a 69 Rambler American, painted it white and put baby moons on it… everyone asked if it was a hot rod, nope! Just a six banger with the giant AC unit in the middle of the lower dash, traded it for my first Cuda … loved that little car

Back in the day, early 70’s I had a 67 Nova SS that I totally built. Put a 327 vet engine in it that was bored & stroked, big Isky cam, headers, muncie 4 speed , Hurst linkage and the list goes on. Midnight blue with a little bit of metal flake and black T and R seats. The low rumble with that big cam made everyone look when I pulled up to a light. Use to take it to the local Fremont drag strip for Friday night grudge matches. Shut down almost everything I raced against. Actually I only remember being beat once by a 427 chevy but it was close. Sold it while I was in college, I just couldn’t afford it while going to college. Really miss that car, what I’d give to have it back today. Great memories.

Thanks for posting the pictures Buck. A lot of folks out there that enjoy the power of a muscle car.
