Got down to 45 the last couple of nights. Turned the heat back on. Not taking the ac units out of the windows just yet, we could still have a warm up.
Same thing in the taco, heat in the morning to clear the windshield and ac in the afternoon

Good Morning Everyone, Have a Great Day!

    Safe travels.
@95SLE enjoy the concert, don't add the extra D to the DD like I have. Got lucky and got everyone one home safe though. When I did I only had 2 drinks, red solo cups of rum half inch from the rim and a little Coke floated on top. Something about free booze that makes it hard to resist.

Hey, @Lurkin - this just in from our Wing. Both are already crewed up, they won't need me.

Good morning all. Bit brisk of a ride in to work this morning. Saw 42 degrees as I crossed over the small creek by my work. The new medium weight waterproof gloves I bought in June are not up to my standards, my hands were cold by the time I got to work. Glad they were on closeout so I didn't spend too much.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/icy fingers. The chill has arrived here as well. I'm trying to decide whether to cut up some of the free firewood we snagged or pressure wash the side of the garage that gets too little sun; if it is warm enough I think I'll do the garage because I can cut wood even in ice cold weather.

I went to a nearby C&C yesterday. I didn't take the Seven because it's chilly here and I'm still feeling the effects of last week's bug. It was a smallish gathering but had some cool rides.

This Caddy was hyper-clean. I spoke with one of the owners, they had just purchased it a few months ago. I hope they own a chrome plating company:

My personal pick for "best in show". All metal, Model A flathead, Halibrand rear, friction shocks in back and lever shocks in front! I was thinking those were Halibrand wheels too but on closer inspection I don't think so.

Good morning. Felt good to sleep into 7:45 this morning. Breakfast is done. Time to cut up the beef short ribs and get a rub on them. Hopefully into the smokey by 11am. Off to the gym.

Thanks for reminding me Jim. Have to unfurl mine. It was so windy I wrapped it up to keep it from ripping the bracket off the wall. :oldglory:

BRRRR haven't turned the heat on yet and it is 68° in the house. Not too bad yet . Stay warm Murray

Thanks for the pictures Dave. I always enjoy looking at the cars that folks have fixed up or built from scratch. Love the Caddy

Ken the heats been on since Friday. We dropped to 30° with some stout winds. My younger neighbor said he wasn't turning on his heat till 11/1 it was on Friday as well. They were talking flurries up north and west of here. But I don't think it happened.

Still being a company man, I get an allowance for shirts embroidered with the company logo. We are supposed to wear these in the office. Duly submitted my order, which was supposed to be delivered on Friday, but never showed up. This morning I get an email saying my order was delivered on time, complete with a picture. Picture is of my package, but not my house!

Since the wife (teacher) has off today, she went down the street to that house, and package was still there. Soaking wet from the rain, but intact. Neighbor has been away on vacation. She told the ring camera she was taking the package and brought it home to dry. I submitted a claim (for 1 cent, can't put in value of zero) informing UPS of the error, stating that "#150 is not the same address as #138, even though they are both on the same street".

:pccoffee: Good Monday Morning Porch Pals & Sue! We get another cool morning or two, then warm, then cool. More like Fall. It lasts a week, so gotta love it. Oh, that week is seldom days in a row. Firewood coming after lunch.

Got the white compounding powder mess washed off. Bit of a quandary with the new paint on the hood and roof. It is "correct", but it is no longer a color match to the old "Sunburst" faded sides. I'm having to think doing the rest, and that's more $ than I figgered. The grille is modern rattle can 3P1, and matches pretty well. The sides are resurrected original with some newer clear. Might have to bite the bullet, because not a "fashionable" two tone!

Thanks for the pics! That sunvisor saw is a match to one that was on the 36 Ford Pickup rod I looked at! More at home on this one.
