My wife is cold if the temperature drops below 70 (even sometimes below 80 ) Murray. She has thyroid issues so the cold affects her. We could never live up in your neck of the woods (I would love it but her not so much). Stay warm .

Good help is hard to find these days Roger. Did your wife take pictures of the package at the other house with it's house number? Hope UPS gives you some restitution . (hope the shirts didn't shrink from being wet)

Had a little gathering at one of the local parks on Saturday and about fifty cars. Some really nice iron... including a McLaren. No pics because I don't carry my phone around.

Bah. My Miata is so sun faded that it's different color on one side vs. the other. And neither match the hood or trunk. I don't care.

We relate both of us have thyroid issues. One gets buy. But our house is set to 76 year round. In the spring and fall we shut down the air furnace and it will drop to 67 but that's about what we can tolerate. If we get some cool nights in the summer we take advantage. Lived in this climate all our lives. Since my wife has had some broken bones we will see how she responds to the cold this winter. May look at doing the snowbird thing for a couple months next year.

We pack it up for January through the end of March and head south to the Island of St. Maarten. It is about the same cost wise as Florida but warmer and you can go swimming :D. We have been going down for the past 2 years and this will be our third. Hope your wife doesn't have major issues with the cold this winter.

It happened a few times that they dropped off someone else's package at my door step, and the address wasn't even on same street. I ended up finishing the delivery for them.

When my wife had her thyroid removed she went from being cold all the time to burning hot. It's great in the winter, but I can't snuggle long without getting blisters. And her comfort range is only about two degrees, 65 to 67. Mine is a twenty degree comfort range, 52 to 72. I like blankets and she kicks them down to the bottom of the bed.

Before the hood gave up, going around the truck was like a big Sunburst Les Paul! That was very livable!

OK, fireplace insert has food for the winter. New 1/2 cord, and most of 1/4 from last year.

    Afternoon all:

That 57 fuelie is really cool and also pretty rare Dave, been awhile since I've seen one.

This isn't going too well, 3 of us out hunting this morning and not a tail, at least it can't get any worse! :(

Careful with where you store firewood. Termites like to congregate near it. I lost a fence before I figured that one out

76 in the summer is doable, but I'd melt in the winter.... I dress for outside and sleep so much better when it's 65* in my house.

Leaves are dropping up here and getting to be good sleeping weather with the temperatures, but it's chilly in the morning. Thank goodness for coffee . Have a good night:wave:
