A little something every chance we get.
Let's see if short term memory will get me through 3 random thoughts....

    1. Some elementary school age kids near Dallas (I think) found out a classmate was color blind. THEY pooled allowances (WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION) to buy him a pair of "color blind glasses"! Kid said on interview; "This is what is the world looks like to all of you?". Excuse me, I'm verklempt. :)

    2. Went to the VisonWorks next to my VSP Optometrist. VSP Insurance and their captive online Eyeconnics had not been helping me get new correct glasses. So, I went in to ask for a "member company" to verify my bi-focal measurements, so I could try again. No problems, and I got it. I explained being a former customer of the store was because my benefits said the best I could get at their store was 3X - 4X what I could get on-line. She says, surprise, "VSP OWNS VisionWorks now, and I happen to know your coverage very well". Yup, she does. New frames, and $60 for service covers exactly what I have on my nose now, same as on-line. She is studying to be an optometrist. I will follow her anywhere! Remember service? Everyone else at the store quoted only "all the expensive options that were ""required"", instead of taking care of me.:proposetoast:

    3. For those of you AMMO buying folks.. Some rich Czechoslovakian guy who owns a sporting business, apparently just bought VIRTUALLY ALL of the American based ammo companies. I read it - I don't know many brand names - and I DO NOT KNOW THAT THIS SOURCE is positively real news, but YOU might want to look see.

All in all dear, I cannot complain! Secretly watering the back tonight, to lighten the load tomorrow. Gave up being mad at me about the tailgate, because all will be one original color again soon. Surprise - asked my paint guy if he wanted me to sand up the grill to prep it for him -
    "no, please don't"!

Got some stuff for yard projects today at Lowe's, and am hoping for real wet weather starting Monday. Projects or not, that will be great!!

You are doing greatly I hope!

    Sue!

There should be half a buck in the freezer, but I blew it, if I would have hunted with the muzzleloader or the rifle this week I could have shot a doe on two different days. Only problem is, if I had been carrying the muzzleloader, or the rifle, I couldn't shoot the buck that I had a chance at, I would much rather shoot a buck than a doe and can't afford to miss if I get a chance at another buck due to the decimated deer population in our area. I'll be lucky if I get a crack at another buck but the rut is coming up and they will be running around looking for does, maybe I'll get lucky!

You aren't the only one to ever damage a tail gate.... I backed in to a tree :anonymous: and dented mine. Not a bad dent, but not bad enough to fix it.... Good luck on getting all damage repaired.

Hope you get one tomorrow, or next time you go out

    Evening all

Good Evenong Sue:wave: my day was good thanks. Started with rain but cleared up hot low 60's. Tomorrow is more soccer. Hope it doesn't rain like last weekend:confused:.

Was out for dinner with friends and when I came out, this bright red Chevy PU was parked next to me.

Nice. The Custom Cab look was the budget Apache, and a very nice combo!

And after the fact. YES. Highly over prescribed; but no one UNDER prescribes a cancer, especially 20 years or + ago.

    Good morning everyone!
    Have a great day!

@Horseshoez good luck with that diagnosis, one of my biggest concerns,,. I've been working with BPH for a couple years so I get what some people are saying most men over 60 have the cells. Lost my dad to it he was79. Keep up the fight.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/tailgate benders. I haven't banged into anything with my tailgate yet but I have put a pretty big bow in the middle of it! I also have a dent in the RR fender from a parking lot hit&run, which I mostly got out using a dent puller kit. The big punch in the RR bumper though -- that was me. :anonymous:
Ditto that! I heard the same thing about men and prostate cancer, if we live long enough we're 99% certain of getting it. I thought the PSA was still a good indicator though, sorry to hear it's not.
