    Stripes will go back on.
Rally was a 2 year option in 71 and 72.
A company makes the stripes out of 3M material and they held up well close to 40 years. They also make a stencil with the original script if one wants to go that route.
Crappy old pic, but here's how it looked in it's original Cranberry Red with black stripes around 1980...

    Morning all:

Thanks bucktales, those are one of the mulching blades I was considering. I get a lot of leaves in the yard that I usually just chop up with the mower, thought that mulching blades might do a better and quicker job of pulverizing them.
Your car looks good in black, but if I were getting it done I think would also go with the original color. That 3M vinyl is hard to beat for durability, I think that is what my buddy uses for most of his work where vinyl is involved.

A little something every chance we get.
:rain: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Day of changes here. 75* to start the day, somewhere in the 40's* to finish. Big Wind from Winnetka moving in. Need to put the small pots in the greenhouse, and I'm going to shuffle the remaining pots either in or between the greenhouse and shed. Close to a freeze is predicted for Wednesday morning, but we'll see. Got to dodge the showers this morning to get that done.

Actually went to a fun Halloween party last night, but it's a drive. We left early at 9 when younger folks were still showing up, and got home 10:30. Daring - out late - I know! Great munchies, and I played some pool horribly!

Very interesting Ken. There must be an Irishman hiding in the wood pile somewhere because my Dad and Family were of German desendants and my Moms side were Norwegian and Swedeish. But the history of the name is really nice to know. Thanks.
    Have a good day.

Why so long a wait between eyes? Did you have a retina problem?

Actually it will be 6 weeks between the 2. Normal from what I hear. Retina and walls good. New lens and good. 15 min at the most for switch.
I get surgery @ 0730 & post-op before noon and will be home before sunset. Amazing.

I had miny eyes done 2 weeks apart. I thought that was the usual time wait. Guess I was wrong.

Good afternoon, Susan. Finished doing a few simple things around the home today. Getting ready for an early dinner and music this afternoon.

Good morning. Irrigation company out today for the winterization of the system. Need to finish up a rebuild on a rescued Weber gas grill, replacement wheels should be delivered today. Went out to dinner yesterday then stopped by another restaurant for drinks. It was beautiful in Maryland yesterday. Today is the last day of warm weather. Tomorrow brings a more seasonal weather.
