A little something every chance we get.
:plane: Good Morning Porch Pals and Sue! Chilly start at 38*, but no freeze. Wasn't expected, but at 9 pm last night, they decided to throw our county in to it! Thanks!

    Thanks for the headlight comments.

Eye Eye Amigos! Eye got this!
    What a couple daze.
    But eye see you.
    20/20

17 out and a nice fire going. I'm beat.
Rio and I deserve pizza and we will have it.

20mpg in the old Tacoma still.
Only in NM. Had to follow a overloaded rig with pools, blocking US 40 for 20 miles...mid afternoon. Traffic backed up for miles.

An accident on US 25 this morning has the fwy closed...most likely for half a day. 2 cars and 30 cops scratching their heads.

I'm enjoying another sunrise. Rio is enjoying the fire.

I kinda like PT, to me the dentist is the torture chamber. But then again I've been married 45 years so that can be a lesson in tolerance.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/halloweeners. We went to a party last weekend done up as Smurfs. It was embarrassing until the second glass of wine, then it was okay.

I used to use polishing compound as a last step too, but I'd use the sanding pads and disc from a 3M headlight kit if they need extra help. I just found a product from Chemical Guys that purports to add UV protection also; it's a light compound and very easy to apply, so I may start using it more regularly. Up until now any headlights I've restored have not stuck around long enough for me to gauge effectiveness over time.

Glad everything with the eyes turned out Henry. Eye have to go back January 2 for and eye exam after having the cloud lasered.

54 years here so tolerance is not an issue Murray. Doing things with my body that I haven't done since I was 20 is torture .

Getting less "Beggars Night" kids every year - had less than 20 last nite. My wif takes the left over sugar snacks to the adrenaline junkies at her fire department office....... too bad that the world has made us become so fearful of idiots.

My Grandson had two operations for a misaligned eye. Very far out. No way they could have done it in one shot.
They look pretty straight to me now… lol

All this talk about eyes reminded me that my daughter 39 years ago had her left eye looking in towards her nose. They tried to patch her right eye to see if the left one would compensate and become normal.she was 2 at the time. They did it for 3 months. It didn't help so this "kid" trained in the newest procedures performed a surgery that he cut the muscles off the eye rotated it 5mm and reattached the muscles. It's been good since. Considering it was that long ago from my understanding it was cutting edge. He used a Lazer.

Good evening all! Slow day at the hangar. One of the maintenance guys was getting the motor, the other was doing something else, so no old fluorescent retrofit work. Lounged and swept the floor. But, after lunch, the motor made it's triumphant return!

Some of those parts look awful tempting for my display brick, no? No, I would not touch it!

Wow. Just :hbd: wow! Here's another cake :hbd: that won't be near as good as that experience. But happy birthday to both of you! :hbd::proposetoast:

Dentist checkups this am, all ok. Breakfast out.. Got a few more packages of fire blocks while in town. Leaves cleanup again yesterday, needs to be done weekly for a while yet. I have rain gutter screen to install, but after I get my eye fixed. That will be cold weather, so next spring for long ladder work. Cozy fire, couple slices of very good pizza for lunch.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Sunny and only made it to 33* overnight. Pull the blankets off the pots, and see how they all did. Going to mow, but it's got to be warmer than now. Headed to mid-60's, and that'll work just fine.

This was our "new spare" for "That's All.... Brother", the C-47. It had been loaned to the Hill Country Wing for their B-25 for a while. The engine will be put into TAB in preparation for the flight to Europe for D-Day remembrances next year.

Just got back home from the torture chamber and mentally and physically exhausted !!!!

Today my PT wanted to work on my balance and coordination . I knew I was in trouble when she placed a velcro belt around my waist . She started with marching in place on a very spongy pad . Next was to walk heel to toe down a tape line on the carpet without watching my feet . Then on that tape line walk overall hurdles without watching my feet

Each of those balance exercises had me struggling to keep from stumbling and falling . All of these balance exercises had my Parkinson's disease symptoms really show the progression of this disease . Over the next few weeks she will challenge me with more of these style exercises and then slowly ween me from the strap around my waist

It's been 3.5 years since the VA first diagnosed me having Parkinson's and Neuropathy . The Parkinson's and Neuropathy are a result from Chemical exposure in the Military and I'm starting to notice a progression of this disease affecting how I can get around now
