Thinking about an over 70s thread, but I could only be there for 4 years and would have to start an over 80s. Life goes by so much faster after retirement! I’m certain I’m no busier than before. Maybe it should be called “reallytiredment” instead of retirement?

Sorry you feel taken advantage of. But have you considered that you might also be blessed? My parents were old when I was born and they are long gone. Many are the moments when I wish I could sit down to talk with them over a cup of coffee. My two kids are 500 miles away in opposite directions, so even though we are in touch daily they are on their own for anything they need. We live in a Mormon community and aren't Mormon, so we are pariahs and on our own. Friends we have had for decades have turned into political extremists and because we are unaffiliated they see us as the opposite extreme so we are no longer in touch. And while we see all this stuff and wish things were otherwise sometimes, we also see that we have shoes in a world of people without feet. We have all the time in the world for personal projects and sometimes wish it were otherwise. So be at ease... please. Take some time for yourself when you can and enjoy the fact that you have people that need you. I wish we had a few...

Backstraps are straps and Tenderloins inside.

@BkerChuck I watched ride's by Jay Thomas he's local but it can be found on YouTube he did a special about a guy in western Minnesota who won the cannon ball ride in 21 on a 1911Harley Davison. Jays show is going to be syndicated. It's about 2 weeks delayed on YouTube. Great half hour show he's says if it had a motor he'll feature it. They had on also a79 kanzler it's 1 of only 6 ever made. 1 of 3 in existence. The other bikes he had were amazing. Jay Thomas is a local guy that has gotten notoriety with the unique stuff and people he features including Jay Leno.

I'm on the east side of the state outside Detroit. I used to drive through the zoo everyday for a trucking company I worked for. I got a brother somewhere in the zoo. But we don't see each other much. All of us siblings have gone different directions. We are all very different.

    Snowblower still hasn’t shown up.
I’m sensing a meeting for replacement or have @Devious6 send out a reconnaissance patrol.
Thinking we might have been infiltrated. I really don’t want to put up the barbed wire again.
    That shit hurts.

LOL, I remember frequent trips on Woodward when my mom would lament the fact most cars of the early 1960s were faster than her 1956 Lincoln Premiere rag-top. :p
