We used to go to junior wings games at the Olympia , got to meet Gordie, got his autograph.

 

I'm a wings fan from back in the day, not so much anymore. Always a tiger fan. Boxing fan, met Tommy Hearns when he was at the top of the sport. I remember being a teenage boy and shaking his hand and my hand disappeared in his. Was a pretty big deal for me then. I've met many of the wings players, great guys. Probert and the bruise brothers, etc. Lions players too, but in all honesty I've never been a fan, and I've sworn off football ever since they started kneeling during the national anthem.
Mt Clemens race track was always fun, then it was the Gibraltar trade center, now it's a weed dispensary. Wow have times changed.

 

Since it’s post the Christmas tree day, here’s our new one. First time in a long time we went back to artificial, after a couple decades of real trees. Sprung for the flip tree, prelit. 60 second setup. And both white and color lights.

 

The LED lights are a game changer.

This is ours, we have a 2ft fiberoptic in the basement. A boxed 6.5 ft pre light we haven't put up in 3 yrs. Not sure why it's just the 2 of us and adult kids. Might put it up in the future, but for now this will work.

Oooh, I like that one, Tom. Wife always wants WHITE only. I love colors. She's not ALWAYS in the room! After Christmas, I will see what Hobby Lobby would rather not send back, then go shopping if need be. I wants some of that there modern technology!

 

It’s awesome. Same here, with the wife likes white and me color….
Plus, I was tired of arriving at the tree farm, finding the perfect tree within 5 minutes, walking around for an hour, cause maybe there’s something better, than me cutting down the first tree we looked at…yes, this happened, more than once.

 

Is there any other way.

No need - there are several 70+ here and I believe one or two (maybe more) 80's here....

This. Both my folks have been gone since '98 and since Uncle Sam sent me here, no one around I grew up with. Older sister left in '05. One kid 140 miles away and the other one about 1900 miles away. Having left home @ 18 to join the military, didn't get many chances to talk to my folks as an adult. There are so many things I would love to ask them. Sorry you don't have much time to yourself - enjoy the time you do get. One day (what could be sooner or later) they won't be there.

Went out with the DIL and as we were driving up, we saw the tree we wanted.... someone else drove around us and cut "our" tree down....

We used to go out to the Hill Country for "free cedar", until everyone got completely allergic. Then we cut a few at tree farms. Then lots. Then the boys got big. Then, it got booted from the living room to the "beach sunroom". Tall and fairly skinny. If I can change colors like that magic tree, my life would probably be complete!

 

@ImpulseRed008 Just tahitian a beans and spiced rum. We use it in our coffee. Much better for you than all that fake flavored chemical crap they call creamer nowadays.

Snowing here now - maybe 1/2" on the ground and only sticking on the driveway where the sun doesn't hit it....at least so far.
