Fell asleep some time after 9:00 reading “Founding Fathers”. Wifey took my book off my chest when she came to bed. Never woke up. 5:05 am, I woke ready for the day!
Plan is to workout, get cleaned up, then start painting and decorating some birdhouses I built yesterday. Pretty exciting plans for my day eh? LOL!

My day yesterday was 5 hours work in the morning and then a friend helped me move a 400 lb machine into my basement wood shop. I got up today and I'm OK, didn't wreck my back. But damn I get winded so easy now with any physical exertion. Part of it I think is my lungs where damaged from the covid and pneumonia, I never seemed to fully recover from it and I still wheez to this day. But I'm still here and kicking. Enjoying life the best I can, just a little slower than my youth.

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Well, won 3 bowl pics in a row (+8), then lost 4 in a row (-5 is my current score). Oh well, Lions won big for me! Quick errand and that's it for the day. Nice or not, football weekends off! And even if I'm working @woodtickgreg , I take lots of breaks these days, after the CHF episode landed me in Emergency for a 3 day stay! What do I need to hurry for, anyway?

Good Afternoon. Thank you for the condolences. The trip yesterday was pretty easy. Light drive with little traffic. We did have a 15 min delay because a semi rear ended a car at the I95 and I270 split on the DC beltway. I can bet the car saw that they missed the I270 exit and tried to make the turn too late. I hope no one was injured.

Kind of strange being in my SIL's house and she is not here. Viewing on Tuesday, funeral on Wednesday and we drive home on Friday.

    Good morning fellow Porchatonians!!!

It's been raining since early afternoon yesterday - water is now flowing down our road so it won't be long before it erodes and flows into our yards. Hoping it stops before it gets much worse.

Was sick all day yesterday, stomach bug. Still feel like crap this morning but I have to go to work. Headache, body aches, hot and cold. I only work 2 days this week so I have to go in. I don't get sick very often so when I do I'm miserable. Back is rally achy. I took some ibuprofen to help with the aches and headache.
I got a new planer for my wood shop and I didn't even play around with it, just didn't feel good, no joy.

I don't think so, I've had covid before so I kinda know what it's like. We'll see how I feel in a couple of days.

    Morning all.
    Pretty sporty out.
Gusts well over 50mph, monsoon rain and power flickering.
    Heard limbs crashing all around.
    Yippie!

I've had COVID three times now, it felt rather different each time; good luck and take care of yourself.
