Had a nice quiet Christmas at home this year. It's wonderful having family here, but it's a lot of work at our age. Off to Cincinnati this am for a pre-op physical. I'll ace it. Surgery in a week. On the phone last two days, filling out forms... way better than doing it on a clipboard in some waiting room.
It will be general anesthesia. Glad to know that up front, so I can tell them sometimes it upsets my stomach. They'll put something in it, so that won't happen.

@06Tacooo, Mark good luck with that procedure I find that getting carved up at this age takes a little longer to heal fully. Been almost 10 months since I had my rotator cuff done and I can now get some use with it that's resembles normal. Considering the length of time I had to wait to get it done I'm happy.

It’s an adjustment going from saving money to go on vacation, to saving money for hip surgery.

I was looking over your latest pics and realized that your pics are probably better than visiting the facility.

97 cents a pound is as low as they go. Limit 2 and I will buy 2 of them. HT is owned by Kroger so if you have either in your area you might want to consider joining their discount club. With HT it is eVic club. The good thing is when I shop at a Kroger in Michigan, they take my eVic membership and apply the discount to my purchases. Today is seniors' day at HT so I get an additional 5% off the entire purchase.

Good morning. I have a full list of errands to do today. I actually have to go to a post office and a Target, ugh.

Back in the day it was a show you intentionally turned the TV on to watch.

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! 33* to 44* already, but barely going to make 60*. Sunny though! Me and Rex going to recycle a truckload of cardboard, and go through the car wash later. Always up for a ride! Got to check my power amp connections in the truck - nothing came on yesterday. Relax and bowl games other than that!.

Thanks Tom - it's a working museum, so it seldom static at all. Except for the extra BT-13, and the P-39 under restoration, everything flies. So, it drips!

We were there for last weekend. Started raining on Sunday and still was when we left on Wednesday. Grrrr
Colorado claims, on average, 300 days of sunshine a year. It holds true too.
