Nice... Temp wise. But 42 is still cold, I'm sure Chuck would enjoy it.

I remember back in the early 80's they would have snowmobile / bike drags usually in 20- 40 degree days the bikes were typically the old KZ750's and the sleds big liquid cooled ACats and Polaris they were fun to see but I was younger than. I would make a great ''snow bird'' I don't handle the cold like I used too.

Anybody that doesn't want their snow... send it here. We need it. It's gonna be a very dry year.

At 42 degrees I don't even turn my heated gear on. I rode to work one morning a few years ago with temp on FJR showing 16 degrees which is the lowest it can display. My phone said it was 7 degrees. Receptionist told me I was nuts.

    She was right, Chuck!

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Crisply 46 right now, another day in the 60's. Going to finally work on taking the tree down, and one of my wife's friends will be over this afternoon for a headlight cleaning. Other than that, putz if I know!

I wish I could, this has been the strangest winter I remember. January and we have less than an inch of snow on the ground, several days of rain. 2 days worth around Christmas and almost 2.75 inches that would be over 2.8 feet of snow. We've had people trying to ice fish and hundreds of people trying to do so, close to shore and breaking off and floating away, needing to be rescued. Every day there had been at least a couple people needing to be saved. They have shown some of the smart ones in boats with floating ice chunks others water skiing. Very odd for this area. Now it sounds like we may see more seasonal weather next week. Lows in the single digits to below 0.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Taking my ex-MIL out for dinner this evening (her daughter won't). I wanted to go out for my approaching 65th b-day, it's her 83rd tomorrow and my pending retirement completed the need to celebrate. I knew she'd like to go to this place, my son doesn't, it's Hibachi dining.

Finally got about 3/4" of snow this morning, we had more in Oct than Nov, Dec, and so far in Jan. Weird winter. Looks like it's finally going to stay below freezing. Lakes around here barely have a skin of ice on them. Several ice fishing events are in jeopardy.

Good deed for the day. Sometimes my wife rides with this lady at night! Sometimes they stop for some wine after Mahjongg.

    Evening all:

    Sue.

7" of snow right now and it looks like we're near the end of the storm, probably wouldn't have to use the snow blower except for the end of the driveway where the snowplow will have it piled up from plowing the road.

Things are just ramping up here in central New Hampshire; I just peeked outside and we barely have a quarter-inch with a predicted total snowfall of upwards of a foot.

    Good morning fellow Porchatonians!!!

We got 3 to 4 inches of snow mostly before 9 PM last night. Then we got a mix of wet snow and sleet. Still more coming - maybe an inch or so. I'll head out to shovel and plow when it gets light. Not sure if I want to fire up the snowblower or not. It's wet and heavy - and the UTV has a heater. :D:thumbsup:

I had to buy a printer yesterday. The old, old Canon MX722 bit the dust and is not worth fixing. Purchased a Canon G6020 ink tank printer. The profile was smaller and lower than the last one, which is what the wife and son want. The file cabinet top is space for the printer and a PS5 gaming system. I keep a box of Milk Bones in the Tacoma for when I visit my cousin and her husband. They are living with her daughter and there are also 2 decent size dogs in the home. Dogs are always happy to see me.

I was forced to understand the internet in the mid 90's but I had the concept down in the mid 70's when I worked on early digital phone systems.

Good morning. Rained all day yesterday, heavy at times. Whet out yesterday to a songwriter's performance featuring 9 songwriters. Nicest music performance I have been to in a while. Everyone was listening and there were so side conversations going on. I would do this again. Need to go over to my cousin's condo with my son to finish the TV install and hang a wall mounted coat rack for her. Tonight is lake trout for dinner.
