Only been in a Starbucks a couple times only by default when it was next to a worksite.
    Def not my first choice.
I asked for a black out coffee and they looked at me like I dropped out of the sky.
They asked what kind, what do you want in it.
I replied just plain black with nothing in it.
Tasted like 3 day old camp coffee.
I avoid Dunky Donuts as well.
Always tastes burned, no matter where you go.

I make my own now and most gas station coffees and even Micky D's are better than those two.

    This is also TRUE!

Was in a C store last fall where they had a machine ground the beans, then made the coffee. I buy McD and Dunkin beans too!!!

I don’t go to Starblicks anymore. I just drink regular black coffee and theirs tastes like old crank case oil. And when you tell them you just want a cup of regular coffee they look at you like your demented. And I agree Mickey D’s is pretty good. I don’t go for the fancy coffee drinks but must admit i do occasionally get a latte or cafe mocha, don’t tell anyone.

Troubleshooting time: The pool pump is not running.

No power to pool breakers. Check the breaker that feeds the house & pool out on the power pole. Reset it, but it's just funky—20 years old, suspect age.

Run over to Home Depot, 30A double is $16.00. I replaced it. The biggest challenge is the main box doesn't have a disconnect, so it's a hot swap. My Parkinson's tremors get wild when working on live circuits.

Go out to the pool and kick on the pump... pump breaker in the pool box kicks off. Dig around the pump (the lawn has grown like crazy) to discover the pump has been seeping, and fire ants have moved in. The pump was replaced about ten years ago and survived the 2021 freeze, but it is time for a new one.

    I have felt your pain.
Our state moves plates from one vehicle, either sold or trashed, to another vehicle. If you want to change plates you have to turn in the old plated or it is a $100.00 a day fee for every day past the mandantory turn in date.

    Congratulations!

Good morning. Off to the dump today to get rid of old latex paint. Then over to an old friend's house to look at mounting a TV on the wall this weekend. Her husband passed away a few years back and she wants the new TV on the wall. I have known her and her husband since high school.

:pccoffee: Good Friday Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Some more prep to finish up today. It be windy out there! Arctic front has been moved up to Sunday morning, and will go through Wednesday they say. I'll be ready but things break down here. Worst part will be if we get the freezing rain (no matter how little) Monday morning, when I'm supposed to go drop the truck off.
