Go 9ers! I’m a 49er fan (grew up across the bay from SF in Oakland) but in my heart I’d kind of like to see the Lions go to the Superbowl. Whichever one goes to the superbowl I’ll be rooting for. And if the Lions go I hope they kick some serious ass.

I finally spotted my shadow after a week. We have had 7.2" of rain in the past week, and it feels good to dry out for a bit. However, we can't complain about the rain as we are still short of water.

It felt good to do some outdoor yoga and pilates, also known as changing the oil in my wife's CRV, which is three years old and has 5483 miles on the clock.

I didn't get a photo, but there were swarms of finches in the yard. Typically, they show up after the last ice storm of the year; I expected them the third week of February. We'll get a few more cold days, but suspect that is it for our ice storms this year.

Dam, Chuck, it's not often that Tennessee has the same temps as North Dakota in the winter. We're expecting the same temps. Yesterday we broke a record forwarm temps here. Last year it got to a high of -5` same day. Good luck with the new doctor.

My best highschool bud has Parkinson’s he too is battling. So far he is hanging tough.

Great day yesterday outside with yard work and in the garage with the door open most of the afternoon. Today should be the same…whoopee! I love these winter weather breaks! Maybe 3-4 more days, then back to our typical winter. I’ll probably be ready for more inside stuff at that point.

Good morning. Already 40 here at 07:30. Off to the gym then practice with a trip to the barber shop and the grocery store. Going to be a busy day. Not a good football day for me yesterday. Both teams I was rooting for lost. Could be a lot worse.

Thank you for your service to our great nation. Take this how ever you wish, but you are in my prayers today.
And please take this only as coming from a place of sincerity and peace...I know its a innocent choice of words, but don't claim that disease...it isn't "your" Parkinson disease.
