A little something every chance we get.
Very simply, the other teams do not want to share any of the money. F1 gets what it always gets, and however many teams there are get what is given F1 will give them no more to split, if there are now 11 teams. No matter what they say, it's the money.

Just to prove I really go to the hangar with the old planes, and not just some room in a random junkyard, here is the hangar in full maintenance bloom.

Six years ago to the day, That's All.... Brother made her first flight (in a bizarre covering of miscellaneous!) after renovation. Today, it went outside with the new engine, after most of the annual is complete. If You Tube cooperates, I give you a short and noisy video!

Just to prove the R-2800 is reluctant to shed any parts, I got exactly one more assembly off. BUT, it does seem I discovered the process! Even if they won't budge....

OK, youTube doesn't let me edit a video together, and my free and now uninstalled version really didn't help.
But here is 21 seconds of TAB in flight, 6 years ago, for the first time in a LONG time.
She's been to Europe for DDay once, and is going again this year....

Good Morning Everyone, another day with unseasonably warm temps.
Yesterday was more busy than I expected. I took my son's dog for a road trip to get dental work done, 58 miles away. He doesn't drive. The vets here are so busy they send/give people referrals 60 - 90 Miles away. So this one is in a small town my daughter lives in and it's the one she uses. So I took the time hang her new TV . I also drove to another little community of a 100 people to look at a bar that needs a door put in to get it up to code. Now I have to get together some options. Commercial stuff isn't cheap.

    Good morning. Happy Febawary.
We (my wife and I) are in the midst of organizing/loading and preparing to move a bunch of stuff up to the The Farm (386 aka North Florida). Most of it is her mom's stuff and treasures. Furniture, do-dads, what-nots, tchotchkes, bric-a-brac, and various prints of Marilyn Monroe.
Not a fun time...for several days. But it must be done...I think.
Definitely makes me enjoy my minimalist side.
    Have a great Feb.1

Lots of money and computers driving the cars. 19 people watching computers in the back.
    That’s not racing.

Even NASCAR, IMSA, etc are going that way.
    Not the same.
    Faster, yea.
    Fake….
The only computer that should be in a race IMHO is the one between the drivers ears.
    I’m old school.
I would rather watch Outlaw Sprints more than anything now..

Last beautiful sunny day for a while, 64*! Working out, then outside or in the garage with the door open working. Another great day to be alive!
Hope everyone else has as gorgeous a day as we are here! I won’t waste it for sure!

    They make good stuff.
We can’t use any of that because of the restore but, would have saved a bunch of headaches.
Trying to overhaul factory switches ain’t easy..
Wire looms and harness covers will clean it right up.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Looks like another fine morning; so stuff around the house to do. Have one of the wife's friends dropping off her car at 1 for headlight UV spray - I did the CeraKote clean last month. Need propane tanks, gas cans, exciting stuff like that. Time to get in the yard cleaning spirit of things!

The exact clip that was on FB is not on the TAB page, I don't think. But here is a YouTube that features the fabulous covering she was rebuilt with.

    https://youtu.be/k4Csd6Ydyjs

She was found in the parts yard at Basler Conversions up in Wisconsin. Donating parts as needed for other turboprop conversions. It's quite a rescue story. On the EAA Oshkosh video; that's our Head of Maintenance - Ray - in front of the plane! I'll have to watch that one!
