I didn't consider that, since everyone know which way to bang the hammer! I really I've don't think I have seen that anywhere else, though I am most certainly wrong...

I meant the use of the color coding.. but I was pretty young when knock off wheels were all the rage!

I’m assuming they are going to do all flight testing etc and then do one of those cool paint jobs..

NASCAR is all about the money. I stopped watching and going a while back. I would rather go to the local dirt track about an hour away from me.

Good morning. Going out to one of my favorite restaurants today, Skippers pier, for dinner and an open mic night. I do have a question for members collecting VA Disability payments, do you receive a 1099 form so nontaxable income can be reported?

Sadly even drag racing has gone that way as well. What used to be serious grassroots, old school racing now even in bracket racing there are delay boxes, electronic launch controls, and more.

Tom here you are. My daughter gave me her tax stuff yesterday and I asked her for her u-tube 1099 she forgot to print it.
I've got to start our taxes soon. Bunch of BS for us since most of ours is pension and SS, with just enough mineral royalties to go by a couple of Happy meals at McDonald's but I get the 1099 on that. We have 3 mineral acres in the balken, with 3 more waiting to hear when the start production. Stupid thing currently pays about 3-400 a yr depending on oil prices. But it's kinda fun to see the amount each of the 14 wells produce.

Phil can come up on my porch and jerk me off, after which I will let my dog have him for breakfast. I'm ready for Spring to get here tomorrow.

Sorry, but the last few weeks have sucked out loud. First we get two rains in two weeks that dumped about 10 inches of rain in 18 hrs (6 and then 4 more), which flooded the basement of my rental house next door. So, I had to dig a 45 foot long French drain along the foundation, which I did solo with a shovel and mattock (12"wide x 12"deep), fill with gravel after lining it with landscape fabric and inserting perforated pipe and adding a couple of surface drains, then backfilling. That didn't include another 30 foot trench to bury a non-perforated drain under the driveway to keep the water flowing from the French drain.

Now I still have to pull up an older style laminate floor and separate underlayment inside the basement and replace it with new flooring (yes, the basement is finished). That's 360 sq. feet of flooring. In the midst of digging the drain, I crawl under my house to change our whole house water filter and discover the pressure tank for the well has a pinhole leak. So, I buy a new tank and add a PRV and drain valve, which the old system didn't have for some reason, drag the new tank under the house cut out the old one and install the new one, then drag the old one out from under the house. All the while, my daughters decide to repaint their bedrooms and I have to stop every few hours and give them pointers on proper masking and painting. They are adults and moved away several years ago, but come visit fairly often which is fine by me, but they've decided to "give back". I don't mind that either, but I wish they'd wait until I get some of these brush fires put out.

Add to this and I still have to drive 30 minutes each way 3 days a week and help take care of my bed-bound mother, who will be 97 in a couple of months.

So far, being on the verge of turning 70 sucks.
