Good Morning Everyone Have a Great Day!

We didn't get quite get the weather we expected yesterday but it was ok. Started out sunny and a couple hours later it turned cloudy.

@Oldie2007 I hope your wife heals good , broken stuff at this age isn't fun.

 

In 2019 while on a trip that had us riding in Alabama for a bike meet, I took the opportunity to visit the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site. While this site is on the smaller side when compared to other National Parks and historic sites it has been one of my favorites of all I've visited. The displays, artifacts, and stories of what these men did are incredible. For any of you that get the opportunity I strongly urge you visit it.

 

I knew it was dangerous playing with balls.
My buddy wanted me to start playing.
I’m way to competitive and for sure I’d do this and or jam my leg bones through my knees.

 

Looks great. What seasonings did you use? Looks like some olive oil and garlic, anything else?

In my prayers for a speedy recovery. Enjoyed the pics of the P51. The aircraft helped the allies win the air war in Europe during WWII. One of my uncles was a navigator on B-17's out of England during WWII.

Good morning. Need to get to the gym early today then off to grocery shop. This Trimester I started to take a chair yoga Zoom class.

Some of you may remember that last year I posted a bunch of photos of my motorcycle with murals I visited for a bike event. On of my friends on a FJR1300 forum sort of badgered me into writing up a ride report with pictures to talk about the event. Here's a link for anyone either interested or bored enough to look.

They have pickle ball at the gym I go to, it has gotten to be a big thing. It seems to attract all ages. But I'll stick to the weights and cardio. We have a large gym just a little over a mile from me that takes silver sneakers. They attract a huge diverse age group because they also offer daycare. The gym they play in has a couple basketball courts so they have had to split times for both because pickle ball has taken off in popularity.

School vacation so no bowling league this week.
Playing hooky and going to go to another ally I haven’t been to in over 55 years.
Last time I was there I was trying to get on tv..
Another kid bowled over his head so far he drowned…LOL..

I came in second. I bowled a little over my average.
He thought he was hot shit and bragging and I told him he was was going to be destroyed.

Well, he was.
The kid that won didn’t bowl his own average..

I could have been a contender.. ROFLMAO..

Then life took over.
Started bowling again 9 months ago.

I’m lucky I guess I can still bowl.
I just suck now…..
But, once in a while, I can lay it down…

Have to enjoy it while we can people cause at some point…….

Those are some really great photos of murals Chuck, love the old barns that some of them are on.
Was wondering if you had any of the old barns with the tobacco advertising that was pretty common years ago, I did notice one and was glad to see that there are some still around.

Hope you are feeling better Sue, and hope the wife heals up quickly Kurt.

Good morning all! A bit of a dreary day outside, so a good one to get some man-cave things done. If I’m inside too long, wifey finds things for me to do…Not as much fun as my things to do! LOL!
Perfect day to be inside! Have a meaningful day! Rest the breaks, sprains, aches and pains!

 

Envious of your Baja adventures! Just started reading them, and will keep reading on our rainy days. Thanks for sharing!
