    Thank you. We're making it.

Duffy seems to be recovering from the Vestibular Syndrome. She is eating and drinking normally and active as usual. She still has some weakness but that could be from not eating for almost a week and a half.

Sunny's cancerous tumor was confirmed. Lucky us that it is the rarest form of a rare tumor. We have a phone radiation oncologist consult on Thursday but not holding out much hope that we can do anything meaningful for her. We can see the weakness in her back legs progressing much more quickly that we'd expected. Working with the neurologist to reduce the spinal pressure with steroids and Gabapentin to keep her pain free.

At this point, we are just showering her with attention, hugs, kisses, treats, food....whatever the hell she wants. She seems happy and pain free which is our goal. Now it's about quality of life before we send her across the Rainbow Bridge.

    Afternoon all:

Now they are saying there were three trains involved in the wreck, one initially ran into a stopped train on East bound rails, and then a Westbound train hit some of the wreckage that was on its tracks. Norfolk Southern has a big rail yard not very far from where it happened so there's plenty of rail activity going on around there, I'm interested in what the investigation comes up with as for how it happened.
The good news is that they are saying no toxic chemicals were spilled into the Lehigh River, which then flows into the Delaware River not too far downstream, which then flows into the Chesapeake Bay, that would have really been bad!

Really glad we canceled our get away to the mountains. Some of the ski resorts last night recorded wind gusts from 140mph to 190mph. All the major highways over the Sierras in Northern California were closed. They still expect up to 10’ of snow by tomorrow. I can’t quite wrap my head around 190mph wind gust. Sitting at home by the fire place ain’t a bad way to spend the day.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Those are some serious wind speeds! F2 to F3 tornado range. That will mess a lot of stuff up!

I took my nephews up to Iron mountain a couple weeks ago, between Kirkwood and Pioneer.

I can't wait to get up there after the storm for some drone shots of how much more snow is there

Good she's keeping the pain under control. She still want to go back to play the game again?

Hope Duffy continues to improve and enjoy the time you have left with Sunny. It's never enough time to have with them.

A little something every chance we get.
I have a fireplace loaded up, and it looks like we won't have any more need. I got a 40 mph gust the other day - my wind speed doesn't like to go high, maybe because I painted it. It's hard to imagine an F# Tornado wind hitting a snow covered pine......
You're a smart man to stay home!

But of course! She's already shopping for wrist braces. Me, I think I', done with F*llball!

So, she'll break her arm above the brace when she falls.....

You have covered completely my available range of responses. Once I catch up, I will just go hit some golf balls by myself. maybe I will take the dog...

@Oldie2007 I wouldn't worry so much about the broken arm for your wife. The bigger concern is going to be a rotator cuff or broken shoulder.
My wife fell in the airport almost 18 months ago. When that happened we know 5 other women who had the same type of injury. If she insists on playing she she should get tips or instruction for falling to limit serious injuries. I didn't know this is a thing, but I overheard some people talking about it at the gym. They were all older and pickle ball players. Good luck.

Morning all! Heavy storm rolled through at daybreak and dumped about an inch of rain. Now it’s sunny, 69 degrees and far too wet for yardwork. Got maybe half of the yard raked up between last weekend and yesterday. So far I have filled 6 trash cans and 4-1/2 lawn and leaf bags. Really hoping to finish up today but everything is soaked. Think I’ll take the dog to McDonald’s, I could go a sausage biscuit and he enjoys the ride.

    Mission accomplished
