Thanks. it was cooked medium. and it cured all the way through which turns the meat red.

I like the SS cooking basket. I think I need/want one. LOL Shrimp look great. I like to cook them in a carbon steel skillet over charcoal on the kettle. I have an older recipe for a shrimp alfredo on the grill. I cook it every now and then only because of the sauce. As others have said, "My cardiologist would not approve".

    Welcome to the thread.

Welcome, there may be a few more aches and pains but we all learn how to live with it.

Cooking is one of the daily tasks that make retirement great, ranks right up there with making the bed in the morning. Yesterday's cook was just over 4 hours. I would never have been able to do that on a Friday is I was working.

Good morning. The ribs were great. The pics below were after I unwrapped them, sauced them up for the grill and the finished product before removing from the grill. I let the sauce set up for 15 minutes before removing from the smoker. Today my son and I will install a 11 outlet in my cousin's laundry room. The electric panel has one position available in the breaker box. Should be an easy install.

Just a few accessories, mud flaps, bed cover , racks, seat covers, ….
    Good morning trouble makers,
After a long review on seat covers, I broke the bank and ordered a set of rough country seat covers from Amazon . Price is still the same : $199 + tax.

:pccoffee::hbd::hungry: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Man, all that good looking food in the morning, makes it tough to enjoy some toast. Out to the hangar for a Wing meeting (I can handle that), and "That's All.... Brother" birthday celebration. The plane is at Laughlin for a show, so won't get ice cream and cake. She turned 80 this Wednesday. Then home to celebrate the wifes birthday early - son is coming out to cook us a dinner. She's NOT turning 80, past that, not sayin'.
Have a great Saturday, and set all your clocks!

    Morning all:

Welcome Dwayne, that marinated venison roast sure looks good! :hungry:

Put 6 boat batteries on charge, 3 starting and 3 deep cycle, all charged and showed 100% charge. I think I'm pushing my luck though, two of the DC's are from 2015 and 2016, and the other 2023, two of the starting batteries are from 2017, and one from 2019, I think it's time for some new boat batteries!
Sure as heck can't complain though, I'm glad they lasted as long as they did and it looks like they still have some life left in them.
I really only need 3 batteries if I switch them from boat to boat, think that will be the plan from here on since I rarely use two of the boats.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to both the plane and your wife Kurt! :hbd:

Another beautiful day! Snow is almost all melted. Suppose to make it up to mid 50s today and, oh yeah, low 60s the next couple of days.
Library day and helping a TW young couple load their, new to them, popup camper today.
Finally the granddaughter and I are making chicken and rice casserole for dinner. Not fancy grilling like so many of you guys do. I’m envious of your skills!
    Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!

Good morning. Happy Daylight Savings Time. :(
Rained most of the day yesterday. Today is going to be more sunshine. Accomplished a lot of tasks over at my cousin's home yesterday. Felt good to do a few small tasks that made a difference to her and her husband. Rich, her husband, is usually sharp as a tack but Parkinson's has a deep hold on him now. I finished activating Close Caption on the TV and he asked me what was going on. There were 5 of us there putting down a new dining room area rug and all the activity was confusing him. I explained what was happening and he understood after that. I know he is pissed that he can no longer help out. As hard as it is for me to see him like this, I know it is a lot harder on him. I miss our lunches together so much.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Anyone know what time it is? I only changed the important ones in the kitchen last night. Past that, everything is automatic or I don't care until I get it today. Laundry day and such; still a nursemaid. We did have a great "Carols Crazy Chicken" dinner last night that the son made, and enjoyed the visit. And the Christmas crates finally hit the attic with his help - I'm still avoiding them when I walk in to the utility room!

Good morning to you as well. Having a son that helps out when you need it is a great feeling.
