Either the news is talking to transplants or Mainers are turning into pussies.

Yeup had a bit of a blow here. Had to put a tarp on part of the shed. Haven’t had power for a week. I’m going out later with the shotgun and shoot me some dinner. Kids should be back from school soon. It’s only a 4 mile walk.

(Crying) I haven’t had power for 8 hours. A big tree (branch) went through my roof.
I don’t know if I can ever live here now.

I was actually a little bored because I have gotten most of my spring switchover done.
Being efficient has its drawbacks sometimes.
So we read books and played games.

Good morning all.

Local news this morning showed a cargo ship hit one of the uprights for the Francis Scott Key bridge south of Baltimore, MD. Bridge collapsed, 7 vehicles known to have gone n the water. Search and rescue teams on site. I can't imagine just being on your way home from work or travel and suddenly the bridge you're crossing just disappears beneath you.

The story keeps getting worse. There will be a lot of finger pointing from insurance companies. I am pretty sure the State of Maryland will be responsible. There goes my short lived Senior deduction on my State tax filing.

I span great distances. I have a pretty good tan going on there.

 

Busy week so far. My week to cook, so figuring out meals; grocery shopping; workouts; etc. Busy week. Keeps me out of trouble.
Granddaughter has been wanting to know what Spam is, so I picked some up to make what I grew up with.

Woke up to nearly 6” of snow yesterday, but it had been so warm the roads were clear by noon.

Had some strong t storms roll thru my area last night

 

If you watch the video you can see the lights going on and off a couple times. Their are reports of on-board power and propulsion outage in the news also.
