TY I will call them today. The locations is about 35 min away. Nice excuse to pick up some gas and take the wife to a restaurant we like down that way. There are actually 3 or 4 restaurants we like down there. Probably go to Happy Harbor in Deale, MD. Restaurant has been there forever, and I used to take my dad there when he was older, he took me there when I was younger. ;)

Good morning. Did a rack of ribs yesterday, they must be good because last night was pizza night for my son and he decided he would rather have some ribs. Smoked meatloaf is on the menu tonight.

Morning everyone! Kettlebell day and then a bit more outside time. Slight chance of rain this afternoon…fine with me. Almost a trailer load of trimmings ready to haul off. Wish I had bought a good shreader years ago. I could have easily paid for it with all the chips I’ve bought…LOL! Wouldn’t have needed a trailer to haul all the trimmings off either. Amazing how hindsight can be so clear!
Have a wonderful day because you can’t repeat it!

I use the StarTron also, so far the Scag carb was the only small engine carb that I ever had a problem with. Everything looked clean when I tore it apart, except for that one really small jet that was blocked.
Was searching for ethanol free gas, nothing close by from what I'm seeing.

If there is a lake or river close to you, there will be non-ethanol gas at most of the stations around it, or at least there is here

:plane: Happy Hangar Day Porch Pals and Sue! Late Start, but going anyway.

All this gas talk, something you might check out. I finally signed up for the Valero app beginning of March. You only link your card, don't use physically. Tell tha app to pay , authorize the pump, and get gas. And for new sign-ups like me, 40 cent per gallon discount, 4 times in March. Once had a second special, THEY COMBINED THEM, I got 75 cents off . They had an eclipse special Monday 25 cents off. Second time I tried, I only got 10 cents. I didn't realize, the app always has a minimum 10 cent over the card. Go figger!

Kurt, my local Shell station, does the same oddball app. Please put in your phone number, which pairs to your cc, and text receipts; after a few fill-ups, it was a 0.50-gallon discount. The pump was marked $2.79; the receipt showed eleven gallons as 2.29.

This is a fantastic photo. Sadly, I don't know who took it; a neighbor posted it on our group email list.

I will look into Shell. Oddly enough, I have a card that gives me a nickel back.

And the only local Valero that has app active, is a place I would never use my card again!

It doesn't count but I was part of a pit crew of a street class for dirt track. Tire guy. Plus I did some track pack. Lots of fun. They ran sprint, super modified and street class on the track till the sprints broke off because of dangerous ruts caused by the other 2 classes. There were a couple serious flips, one guy lost his life another lost a hand. Not sure if you guys get the world of outlaws racing. But a younger guy Donny Schatz. Came out of that group his dad Danny raced sprint at the time I was involved. Had a lot of respect for those guys to make their own circuit.

I live about 20 minutes from Williams Grove Speedway, 45 minutes from Lincoln Speedway, and 10 minutes from the old Susquehanna Speedway in south central PA. WOO is in this area a lot. Oddly enough I never got into dirt track but was more of a drag racing fan and part time participant. Roughly 30-40 minutes from the old York US-30 dragway.

Do you remember " back door bob" Struckness a top fuel drag racer out of Minot,ND. When he was racing he made it to #3 in the US. He had a diesel shop in the area. If you needed aluminum welding done he was one of the first doing that in town. Nice guy.

    Afternoon all:

Couple lakes and a river near me, but no marinas that sell any type of gas in the area. I can get av fuel and racing fuel locally, but for the ethanol free gas I would have to travel a bit.

Just filled up the Tacoma with Citco gas @ $3.399 gal., cheapest station in the area and Citco is a tier 1 gas, also get 3% back on the CC so that's about 10c off, so pd. $3.299 gal., might start stopping there more often, as long as it equals the gas milage that I get with Exxon which is mainly what I use.

That is a beautiful pic. Tom!

I read that amaryllis bulbs that were dipped in wax like you find at Christmas time can’t be saved. I managed to save 5 out of 6 from Christmas of 2022. I let the bulbs atrophy enough that I could peel and pry the wax off of them and planted them in a pot and left them alone until this past fall when I cut back the foliage and let them go dormant for about 6 weeks to try to force blooms. I think maybe they weren't dormant long enough since only one is sending up a bud. Going to try the same thing with a couple of bulbs from this past Christmas, letting them grow and cutting them back this fall. I’ve also started some white plumeria that I got from a neighbor, I’ll give him some of my yellow plumeria cuttings when they’re a little further along. It’s funny, I cut back my plumeria a few years ago and put the pieces out at the curb and now i see yellow plumeria in nearly every other yard.
