    Morning all:

I tend to agree, the lowest I ever left the Hankook's get was 46 psi. and they were worn evenly. As for the ride, not that bad, I've experienced much worse and don't mind the stiffer ride, it's a truck! Thing that amazes me is that the vast majority say to run the psi. stated on the vehicle sticker and not near what the tire max. is, I can see dropping a few psi. as you suggested, but not 22 psi. to get to what the sticker suggests, I may just go back to my old ways! :D
I found it odd that the sticker says 29 psi., the tires say 51 psi. max, and the dealer aired them up at 36 psi.!

Sue I hope you get a handle on your AFib sounds scary, I personally just deal with heart blockages and low heart rate. Normal for me low to mid 40's.

There are important reasons vehicle manufacturers have recommended psi both on the door and in the owners manual. Through experimentation and engineering they have determined the best psi. A few of the reasons include Running at max psi the vehicle does not handle as well. Braking is impaired both dry surface and especially wet. Better traction also at recommended psi. Helps avoid accidents. Other reasons too.
Trailer tires fyi are a different matter. They are designed, engineered and built differently than vehicle tires. Trailer tires should always be inflated to max psi. Totally different tire. Under inflation is the leading cause of catastrophic trailer tire failure, in other words blow out. I check the tires on my boat trailer at least once a month.

Thanks Ken, good reminder at the dealership we always set to the manufacturer recommended setting for that reason. Though out the years I've heard all different theories and thoughts. I had a '76 Chevy pickup in 76 I stuck M50's on for a bit and I aired them down to around 20, higher than that they hydroplaned terrible. Went back to stock after a bit. Youth

Enjoying the beach and scenery on St George Island. Not a lot of people- fisherman, dolphins, sun and waves. However on my security cam at home a dusting of snow. :bananadance::woot:

Thanks Murray - I hope so too! It is scary - what's the worst is when, a few episodes ago, the medicine didn't work and keep in mind, this was a Thursday.... The cardiologist said if I don't convert by NEXT THURSDAY they will zap me to help me convert. Yes, they were willing to let me go for a freaking WEEK in afib. Thankfully I converted a short while after getting home, but.... Anything they can do for your blockages? Bypass? Keep on ticking.

Sue sorry what you are going through with afib. It seems like at least half the people I know 60 and up have afib. Scary stuff. For many the worst part is having to take blood thinners and all the problems with that. Hopefully you are a candidate for either ablation or cardioversion. Both procedures have success rates 90% and higher. Now a days you really have to advocate for yourself with physicians. Be pushy and if you’re not satisfied change doctors. Anyway I wish you the best, you are in our prayers.

Yep, 6 stints so far, no heart attacks just a few pains for a warning, so no damage to my knowledge. The low rate is just me and so far a pacemaker is not on the table.. I try to make it to the gym 6 days a week

Morning all. Ocala weekend and we’re meeting with a realtor tomorrow to look at houses here. It’s been our plan for the past 5 or 6 years to move here but things like medical issues and a pandemic got in the way. Now that the plan is becoming reality the anxiety is setting in.

    Good morning all! Happy Saturday!!
This is the first day in about 3 weeks that I have been able to get on here. My regular job and work at the farm are taking every spare minute it seems. We are just a few little things from being able to "live" in there and finish it. Installed one of the bathrooms, kitchen is plumbed up. Water heater is in place and waiting on electric and water connection. Just need that and a couple little pieces of drywall above the shower walls. It has been just over 2 years since I started this project. From a dilapidated abandoned 2,000 sq. ft. double-wide to complete frame up rebuild.
My job has me driving all over Florida and So. Georgia for the past few weeks. Already have 6,200 on the new tacoma since February.

It will take me a while to play catch-up on this forum.
    Have a great day!
    Peace.

Phillip: Your post made me look up "Super Pacific", I do not venture out of this thread much, and what I found definitely was pretty neat. My first pickup was a 72 Hi-Lux, really underpowered, and I did a lot of camping with the truck, it had a cap on back then. :)

Good morning. Had a lot of fun at a container pot building seminar yesterday. Lots of new information, a validation for a lot of the flower planting methods taught to me by my dad, and I received a free bag of plant fertilizer for attending. Still a little too early to plant where I live. Yesterday was chilly and the seminar was outside. Glad I dressed for the weather. In the late afternoon we went to the opening of a dock bar for the season. Still chilly but we had a good time. Tonight, it is off to a local brewery for music.
