Envious! Oh does that sound like a fun time! My lady and I use to go dancing every Thursday night. A local bar/dance hall had a jitterbug night. Great fun, great exercise!

Rained all night and suppose most of today…April showers ready for May flowers! Guess I’ll mess around in my man cave or garage today. Always something enjoyable to do!
Have a wonderful day and if you have sunshine get some vitamin D! Get/stay healthy!

    Morning all:

Darn, darn, darn, just got a phone call that an old friend of mine just passed away.:(:(:(
I had mentioned him prior, he owned a 1965 FI corvette that he bought new, the last time I saw it it had just 30,000+ miles on it and is numbers matching except for the FI which he replaced with another FI unit, $$$$$$ car! If wanted, a 65 FI unit could be put back on it, they are available.
Found out that he transferred the car ownership to his daughter when he started having health problems, his daughter is a nurse and isn't needing, hopefully that car doesn't get pissed away for peanuts to one of the vultures around here, which may have happened had his wife inherited it.
I think he knew that that might happen!
    RIP Rollie!!!

I refuse to buy Yeti! I have Ozark trail cups, for 1/3 the price and work just as well.

 afternoon gang. Heading put to mark my sprinklers and move pots so tree branches don't land on them Monday. :spending::spending:

For the most part yeti makes quality stuff but it’s way way over priced. And for some having a Yeti is simply a status symbol. For weekend warriors who need to keep things cool for a day or two they are a complete waste. A cheap Igloo will work just as well for a day or so. If you’re going out for a week they are superior for keeping food and beverages cold. But there are other coolers that almost exactly like a Yeti for a lot less $$$. I don’t own a Yeti but I would be one cool dude riding around with a big ol’ yeti in the back of my truck for all to see. I may just put a yeti decal on my rear window. :D

LOL... My wife and I like to spend time going to yard/garage sales, and we like thrift and antique stores. Yeti stuff isn't exactly common, but when it's there it's as cheap as anything else. And honestly... a hundred bucks for a dog bowl? That just makes me laugh. The only extra value in that price is bragging rights, and we just shake our heads and wonder about people that would spend money to brag.

Years ago, my honey bought me a Yeti for my birthday. Cheaper back then. At the time it was top cooler in the market. It has worked well for years and held up well. I wouldn’t spend for one today. Too many out there that are just as good for quite a bit less. But then I have no use for a new one since my old one works fine.
“Buy once, cry once!” as the old saying goes.

How funny, cracking up here. Joined the site about a couple of months back because I bought a 2024 Taco. Not my first, but told the Mrs, probably my last... And then I stumble on this tread. Still laughing - hello from one old timer to all other timers, no disrespect... I read this thread has been going on for approximately 11 years, wow!!! I'm impressed.

    Evening all:

Welcome @ Tacowrench, pull up a chair on the porch after you fill the cooler! Good group with varied interests and pics are always welcome.

Saw the grey fox again in the back yard, neat critter, but not close enough to get a pic., rather have the fox than that PITB bear.

Today we started on the move...

Now that we're under contract and have an idea of what kind of a place we're buying and what furniture and other stuff we need, we started our third "downsizing" in 11 years today. Two trailer loads went to various charitable donation places, some from our storage locker and some from our basement (our new home has no basement), and we invited various friends to come over and pick some of our stuff we'll be getting rid of, like a rather large 28 cubic foot refrigerator we keep in the basement, a 3-piece cherry Hooker wall unit I bought in, geez, 1988, five years before I met my wife, and even our dehumidifier for our basement, ain't gonna need that in a condo up on the 4th floor in Maryland. :)

Obviously, to ask one without living in a Communism country to understand the communist “ways” of conduct their business practices is not practical. Sorry!

Made an appointment to get a TSA Pre-check done at a local "Staples" location. My spouse and I are doing more air travel and I absolutely hate the regular TSA lines and process. "Take off your belt, take off your shoes, etc." and getting hustled thru the line like an Aldi's on steroids. Cost is $78, worth looking into.

    Welcome to the thread.

I feel the same way about my 09. Since doing the work the 09 rides, drives and handles better than new. The Bilstein shocks are really nice, coupled with new UCA and tie rod ends, and new continental tires the Tacoma will outlast me.

Good morning. Getting ready for the gym then off for an early dinner with music.
