Good Morning Everyone Have a Great Day.

Well been back to reality for 2 days, went to the lake place yesterday to tear out a window and fill the hole with plywood and re-side to make it look normal after we got a set of new used cabinets that extended into the first of a set of twin windows. Went well. Before I left I went to the walk in I look like I have measles on my legs and arms. I got dinned on by sandflies perty good. Antibiotics and steroids got a little infection, I enjoyed St George Island a lot, walks on the beach watching dolphins, it's a small price to pay. I usually pay the price for being outdoors around bodies of water. Deet acts like a draw for all the biting bugs on me. In the woods it works great. Since I hit 55 I seam to have an allergic reaction to bug bites around lakes and ocean water. At the lake it's horse flies.
Enough of the rant. Enjoy your day.

Morning kids :hattip:just a side note on the Yeti stuff, my daughter used to manage a store that sold Yeti. All my stuff was purchased at a steep discount, still way over priced.

WOW! Over 2 1/4” of rain yesterday! That’s a lot at one time for us! Mostly cloudy with scattered showers today.
Things are really looking pretty outside! Need to check the vege garden today. May have some spinach ready.
Make today your best day yet! Wishing wellness and good things to all on this day of rest!

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/n00bs. Our cat Mr. Gray has gone missing, breaking our hearts. He's well up in years, stone deaf, and although he does go outside he hasn't really gone very far off the front porch in years and years. I've heard people say that cats will find a place to hide when it's their time, but I've never had a cat actually do that. We're still hoping he's just on a 'walkabout' but that hope fades a bit more every hour he's gone. I'm going out again after I finish this to see if I can find him.

My sister and her husband did this. They like to travel and they say it absolutely worth the effort. Go for it!

Mike Pinder, the last surviving founding member of the Moody Blues, died April 24th.

For me, the passing of an era.

RIP Mike, see you on the flip side...

A little something every chance we get.
Good luck with Mr. Gray, Dave @wdb.

:rain: Good Morning Porch Pals @ Sue. Welcome, @Tacowrench - I'll take a cold one in a bit. Finally got our portion of promised rains. About 1/2" so far, with a little to go the rest of the morning. Got my top soil, but did I unload it? Nope. Took a nap. Way too humid anyway! :D

Think I'll run the sweeper on some stuff, and not do much. Sounds about right.

Had TSA pre for many years. I’d hate flying even more if I didn’t have pre. Definitely worth the time and $$.

I hope you find your kitty. I know how devastating it is when a pet goes missing.

The cat came back! Turns out he got trapped in the neighbor's backyard workshop/garage. He was in there from Friday afternoon until about an hour ago!

In other news, today we learned that there is a high-ish end shopping area about 1/2 hour from our house. All this time I thought we were rural... ...anyway we meandered around on all these rural roads until we came to a traffic light, then another. Turned left and, presto. It's one of those places built like a little village. Has a Brooks Brothers store. And a LL Bean, which is how we discovered the place; my wife had ordered something from them online, wanted to return it, and found out about the local store. While we were there I came across Yeti dog bowls, but none for $100. (They all stayed in the store.)

LOL... Mine are durable, easy to clean, and resistant to roughhousing... and are about $48 dollars less expensive. I can buy a set of Corelle Ware for less than $50, brand new.

Not very well. But they did have one that holds a tall aluminum can, and has a top that screws on to hold the can in place. That one was a mere $25. And yes I was tempted!
