That’s fabulous news, good on you. I also had prostate cancer a couple years ago. Fortunately it was caught early, early stage. After brachytherapy my psa has been down to .09 and remains there. I am considered “cured”. I hate cancer.
Don’t know what type of treatment you had but if it was radiation it is common for the psa to rise a little after a year or so. It is called “bounce”. It does not mean your cancer has recurred. In a couple or a few months your psa should go back down to where it was before the bounce phenomenon. Kick cancers ass!

Nope, no radiation yet; that was set to happen in July, but given our move, that ain't gonna happen until we are fully landed in Maryland. Should be interesting. :)

    Great news @Horseshoez !

:plane: Happy Hangar Day Porch Pals and Sue! Late start, wife kept waking me up when she got up. So late start to Hangar, but one part is off and I took the shop vac to it

Parts ordered and arriving for pool work. Still got internet stuff to fix. See heart Dr. Tomorrow tho. Everyone concerned about some kidney number though. Will see. I was a perfect human in March.

    Afternoon all:

That's good news Dale, good luck on the path ahead!

You're doing better than me Dave, I've been thinking about cleaning up a tree for 3 months now, I'll get to it when I get tired of looking at it or it falls in the yard where I need to mow.

:plane: slow day, but I am to the point where the next step will need the engine rotated, or else I will do a power & steam clean as it sits, then rotate. Got three shields today, and used the shop vac to clear a bunch of the junk in the valleys and crevices now that I can see them.

    oops

IMG_9331.HEIC.jpg Worked on my RV today (2016 Minnie Winne 22r) getting ready for an RV trip toward the end of the month with 30 of my neighborhood club members.
Grey water side "hump gasket" was leaking. Removed the old gasket today. Tomorrow the plan is to loosen the hanger supporting the 3" black PVC lines to see if I can squeeze in
the new gasket on the grey water side without damaging the other end of the line for the black water gasket. (Dream on!) Bought 2 gaskets from Winnebago so push comes to shove
I will do both sides. I'll flush the black water side really well so if I have to uncap that side it will hopefully not overwhelm me. I wear safety glasses and a mask when working. I have a heavy
duty dust mask I'll use if I have to work on the black water side. Wish me luck!

Update Day #2: Woke up this morning and said to myself. "Self, send it to the RV shop and have this job done for you!" I thought I'd be a nice guy and WD40 the nut holding the hanger supporting the 3" PVC dump tubes for the repair shop. Ended up with WD40 dripping into my ear....case in point.

Tree trimmers due this am. Hope they don't damage the driveway with their large bucket truck. Glad to finally get a problem tree professionally trimmed. Will cost about a grand, but absolutely worth it not to wake up during a storm, waiting for a large limb to hit the house. Could damage the roof, or worse.. a truss, window, etc.

@Buzzbait Thighs look mighty good. We had salmon for dinner last night.
@Oldie2007 I always enjoy your volunteer pics.

Good morning. 80 years ago, a lot of our parents fought alongside the Canadian and British forces to secure our lives today. Operation Overlord lives on today.

Cooking a chicken today. Not sure if the cook will be on the smoker or the kettle grill.

30 years ago today, my better half an I were on a bicycle tour of France. We were on Omaha beach and had a ceremony lead by a Dutchman who was 14 on D-Day. It brought tears to all of us how thankful he was to the soldiers who sacrificed themselves to free his country. A very humbling experience!

    Morning all:
All we can do is "THANK YOU" to all those who took part in D-day and WWII in general. :oldglory:
It is quoted that "war is hell", lots of those guys went to hell and back, and many of them never make it back, either way they all deserve the utmost respect.
