    Slowly losing my heroes.

Goodbye Willie Mays you were incredible to watch as a kid and always a fixture here in San Francisco.

Wow.. in the 90's again today, next few. Haven't seen a stretch like this for a while. Glad to have a/c. Remember growing up without it. Didn't care then... the hotter the better. Now it's a health hazard. Just had the A/C system gone over, new start/run capacitor. Lucky to still have original installers/service company close. Hopefully it will get us through.
Newly refurbished water feature works great. Have to refill it daily during this hot weather. Local birds appreciate it. Saw a male Oriol yesterday. Probably means a female is nearby. Rare to see one here.

Awake at 2:00, up at 3:00, prepping at 3:30! Ready to get my colonoscopy over with and back to a normal diet!
Sad to miss being outside today because it’s another 70* and lovely day! Finally having a few normal weather days…NICE! Now if only I get to enjoy them.
Sorry for everyone back East where the temps are getting so hot! Get out early in the cool of the morning, then inside with a nice cold iced tea (or what ever your pleasure!)
Everyone try to accomplish something fun today!

Hope the growth is not bad news.

As a boy growing up in the early 60's everyone wanted to copy Willie's basket catch.

Good morning. Off to the gym then going to donate blood. Smoked chicken for dinner tonight.

A little something every chance we get.
:rain::notsure: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Will we, won't we? Think it's mostly going to stay South of us, but we'll get something. Hey, it's only 76* this morning!

@jwctaco, is that really the old State Theatre? Fantastic if so. Many movies there as a kid!

When I grew up in Minot, we had the empire theater. The city delayed a meeting because allowed a corporation to tear it down for a parking lot. So it missed being declared a historic building. KISS played there in about '73. It had a balcony stage and screen. Several other bands came through also. Many good memories.

The inside of the State Theater is all sculpted plaster , with great acoustics. Looks funny with modern sound and lighting equipment IMG_0091.jpg

    Afternoon all:

    HOT!

Looked out the front window and saw a critter coming up the driveway and along the edge of the woods line, looked like a small squirrel but the way it moved made me think, is that a weasel! Went just outside the back door to see if I could get a better look at it if it kept coming up the driveway, shortly a little black head with beady eyes appeared from behind my garbage can with 3 of my outside cats looking at it. Yup, definitely a weasel, cute little critter and the first one that I ever saw here. Hope it doesn't get into the neighbor's chicken coop, that might be bad!
