He just doesn't know what to make of deer though. Just freezes and a stares at them. :)20240620_055218.jpg

Good morning. Did not do a lot yesterday and will probably follow suit today. I have to get moving and go to the gym. There is an 8:30 yoga class in the studio where I do my major stretching.

A beautiful morning! Well I missed our one cool day yesterday…70*! Hot for at least the next week reaching over 100*! Yikes! Wish I still had our little second home in Leadville, CO at near 10,000 feet! Always cool there!
Have to watch my diet for two more weeks, then back to normal…YEA!
Have a great day! It looks like we all need to stay inside for a while. Plenty to get done in there as well!

A little something every chance we get.
:rain: Well Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! It took it's time getting here yesterday AM, but rain started a noon, and didn't quit until 9:30 PM, minus one 10 minute slot for the dog to go out! Almost all light and steady, 1.19" total (I think my gauge skipped the first 2/10 - but stuck in there or something). On and off today, with maybe a late storm.

Between the rain, and a pinched nerve on Tuesday, I haven't done nothing! Going to recycle cans and stop at a store, maybe get to that greenhouse project I skipped. Might be dry enough to mow tomorrow. Had planned on taking the R-2800 motor outside at the hangar for a steam and power wash, but that was a rain out.

Y'all be good! Fire, water, and heat all over this nation!

This makes me think of childhood days - when myself and other boys would be employed as "stompers" - flattening the raised tunnels in the yards of the neighborhood. One family had a dog - breed forgotten now - that would sniff, listen and then dig to try and dig them out. Not held in great favor by some of the lawn purists......... My dad had some sort of spring loaded mechanical "ground stabber" trap he would install over the odd tunnel - a relic he brought from grandpa's barn.

I feel your pain...gizmo got one last week after digging to China to get it..... then she played with it for 15 minutes before killing it.

Afternoon gang, stay cool out there.... good day to work on the sprinklers

Air down tools and the shovel also helped a 4Runner who got sunk in the sand pit. LOL.

Time to head back to Texas for new tires and an oil change.
