Nice work, Greg! My fake garage windows are way down my list, but they sure could use that treatment!:thumbsup:

    Evening all:

Looks good Greg, should be good to go for a while!

:annoyed: Was downtown when a quick rainstorm went through, came home and had to move a large limb that was down across the driveway and saw some other big limbs down in the yard. Think I'll go to plan B to clean them up, I'm planning on hooking them up to the garden tractor and dragging them to the woods line, then cut them up there and make a brush pile without having to load and unload the garden cart full of branches about 5 times, should make it a lot easier.

OK, proof that engine was outside. Because a lot of gunk came off, though the before and after is somewhat depressing!

    It's brighter. I'm happy-ish. But I got a good parking spot for a pic..

Oh, "That's All, Brother...." comes home tomorrow afternoon. I may be there to catch it. The ONLY US plane to make the whole D-Day 80 tour. Picked up all kinds of slack with the jumpers because there were not planes available. Col. Ray rightly heaps praise on our ground crew!

I had to do something, the wood rot was getting pretty bad. Had to save the garage.

Took a break, myself, a few years back. The break is a worthwhile thing to do. The political BS, from both sides of the aisle, was affecting me. I ended up unfriending a few persons and I am better for it. I, for one, am glad our moderators will not tolerate political rants.

@woodtickgreg Man Gerg you are doing it in. I see an outside repaint to the garage in your future. I really like your window treatment and the framing is on point. You have a nice shop in the garage. The radio on the work shelf is over the top nice.

@Oldie2007 Thank you for the pictures. Going to be a nice-looking engine if a total rebuild is in the future.

Good morning. My eye doctor appointment was encouraging. I have dry eyes and it does affect my night vision. I am now on an intensive eye hydration and tear duct unblockage procedure. We finally received rain last night. It was a nice rain and the lawns seemed to have greened up some.

Good morning everyone have a great day,!

Nice job on the windows Greg, free is always good those old ones appeared to be the old check rail style. Funny when I started working in the window and door business. We handled them yet in the 70's. I've made a few stationary customs out of door jamb material glass and 1/2" quarter round. For people who didn't want to spend extra money on pre-made.

Reminds me that I need to make an eye Dr appointment. Having some vision issues. Thanks!

Another 7* above normal day. At least we cooled down from the 20* above days.

Got to get out early and do some watering and yard work.

Everyone be safe out in this heat and humidity LOL! We are at 75%…very high for here!

RAIN!!! Holy h!!! Late afternoon the skies broke open and water was coming out like a cow pissing on a flat rock. Thunder grumbling like I've never heard it around here. Continuous and lasting hours. I could see lightning inside the clouds but never really saw it come down. We went out and sat on the porch to watch the show, and waved at the neighbors sitting out on their porch, also watching the show. At times I worried about the garden due to the force of the driving rain, but it looks like the garden loved it. And then the skies opened again in the middle of the night and the thunder rolled again. Altogether a very enjoyable weather event...

:pccoffee: Good morning Porch Pals & Sue! Going for the record 100 today, but still with the humidity. By Saturday, it's supposed to drop from "tropical" to "oppressive". Oh, goodie! Haircut, and catch "TAB" coming home if my timing is good. Supposed to have a guy coming for my wheels and tires this evening.
