We have student volunteers (Working on their Doctorate of Physical Therapy) for our Parkinson's Boxing Class.

Today's agility drill was "shoulder tap," where you try to tap your partner's shoulder. Most students always see my arms tucked in, not realizing I have a long reach. Gotcha!

Well, finally. A table of mostly various Bell peppers, and two maters inside.

To call this a greenhouse isn't really fair. Daily, it will get to 105, but we're getting more harvest than last year.

Did a bunch of trail clearing a couple of weeks ago. No gloves. Checked for poison ivy/oak AFTER I got done and AFTER taking a leak behind some cover. ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHH!!! (luckily no leaves of three...)

Here's an idea. Why not work from the inside wall, pull out the 4" galvanized vent pipe and extend the white PVC pipe. The vent cover should be able to insert all the way, it's the edge/lip of the galvanized vent pipe that is blocking the vent cover from being fully inserted?

Welcome and yes expect more of the same. I would not mind it if you put some sparkling waters into the cooler. ;)

I know the feeling all too well. I made some Charro Beans yesterday and this morning I saw the Cilantro in the icebox. The Cilantro was for the charro beans. UGH

Good morning. Sunday and only 4 more days to a much-needed mini vacation. I know a lot of us exercise on a regular basis. I started back up an exercise program with definitive goals. Last fall and winter were brutal and even though I was going to the gym I seemed to have lost my purpose. Yesterday marked the 34th day in a row at the gym and the 30th day in a row where I was able to do 30 minutes on the exercise bike. I am feeling a lot better, and the fat is coming off the body slowly but surely. 4 more days in the gym then a 4-day break. After that I hope to run off a 17-day run till our summer vacation. Going out to dinner and music tonight. Son is performing during his friends breaks at Pirates Cove.

Haven’t been to a speedway in many years. Granddaughter and her BF invited me to go with them to the Colorado Speedway in Dacono last night. I had a great time!

Good morning all. Late night last night. Went to an old friend's place for a movie night. They had a blow up movie screen set up in the backyard with a projector, grilled burgers and dogs. Everyone brought picnic foods and beverages. Of course for the first time in weeks it poured rain so we had to all scramble and help pack it all up so we never did see a movie. Power went out then for about 30 minutes. Not what was planned but we all made the best of it anyway.

Last week, my son's Honda had a dead battery. I loaned him my NICO Jump pack, so he made it home safely.

I headed off to the barber because I looked like a shaggy sheepdog. The battery was dead! Thankfully, I have a Jump Pack for my wife's Honda, so I used it and went off to the barber.

Autozone battery prices have gotten insane ($289). I went with the $169 Walmart AGM (absorbed glass matt) as I have had better luck with that battery style for handling off-road vibration. The secondary battery cable feeds the Redardc DC/DC charger for my Lithium-Ion battery. Excellent, it is still a Group 24 battery, "24F." From pumping gas as a kid, I remember that the "F" was Ford, and the plus and minus terminals are swapped compared to GM and Chrysler.

OEM battery lasted 3.5 years (lots of off-roading, heavy battery loads). Texas heat kills batteries.

Also, it's time for new tires. Discount Tire -- Wildpealks Falkens AT4.

35,400 miles on the truck, time for the next oil change. It's too hot, so I'll do it when it is cooler in the morning or after the sun sets.

I needed a new battery for my 3rd Gen Taco last week. It seems like I just replaced it but that was 4+ years ago. The cheapest I found was Autozone, $200, then my wife suggested Costco. More like $145. Picking it up was easy but returning the core the next day was a pain. No appointment, so as I stood in line while appointment holders got priority, and more showed up, I was literally going backwards. 30 minutes later I got my $15 back. Luckily my time is free.

Morning peeps. Got a new basement dehumidifier, old one is evidently shot. Can't complain, was 25+yrs old. R&R took most of the day, but it's installed, wired, set up, and running. Whew!
R/R is my way of fixing the old one. Humidity monitor in the house says it's 49-50% in the house now, so it's doing its thing. It went into standby at the factory setting of 50%, which was the sweet spot for the old one. Wife already breathing better.
Old unit is in the trash. Was all I could do, to lift it up and into the trash can. Man! these things are heavy. Good thing the trash truck has a lift. We'll sleep better now. Something to do every day. Glad to have the days and a few working brain cells left to do it all. I'm 78.

Good morning, back from a week off. Time to make the donuts. Catching up on emails etc...and a short week ahead. Headed to the farm on Friday. haven't been there in over 3 weeks. Wonder what the place looks like...yikes.
