Very true says the guy that will be on the PA Turnpike in 18 days.

Good morning. Pretty hot in the DC area but not as hot as a lot of the country. Try to stay cool and dry today, depending on where you reside.

Getting hotter here as in the 90s today and into the 100s starting Friday, so I need to get my shade cover up over my garden today. Hopefully it will help.

Everyone be careful in the heat! Get out early and back inside when the temperature gets up there!
But above all, make it a good day!

It is, annoyances for the most part. Limbs, branches and some fence. Thought that power was going to be a longer-term thing, given past experience, but I had power 12 hrs after it went out, came on about an hour after I setup the genny for fridge, freezer and window AC. Not sure what I did to deserve that, usually one of the last for restoration, but no complaints on that. Son, who lives on other side of my burb-town, didn't have power so he and his cat spent the night, and his power was on yesterday afternoon. So, all good.

Well beryl is gone for us, lots of rain but not as much as they predicted thankfully. 91% humidity this morning, going to 80 and windy so hopefully the hu.idity blows out.

Good morning. Was supposed to have thunderstorms but that did not happen. Upper 80's today so it is cooling off somewhat. Going to visit my cousin and her husband today, both are in different facilities about 5 minutes apart. My cousin is now in rehab, better than in the hospital.

Another beautiful morning! Apparently we had a visitor near our shed this morning. The automatic light came on. Probably a family of raccoons. I’m still finding fresh piles of poop along the back fence. Need to get my live trap out, catch some, and haul them to the mountains. The big piles of poop are getting pretty big! Yuk!

Orders this morning are to haul everything out of the screened porch and clean it. Lots of pollen still. We have a guest coming in a few days.

Hoping everyone is safe after Beryl? My sis lives near Paris and I guess they got a pretty good rain. Man I wish we could get some! Even my Shasta daisies are wilting! Chlorinated water just doesn’t do nearly as well as rain water.

Make this a special day everyone!
