Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Off to Sports therapy in a few. I was surprised to find I made my steps goal yesterday after dinner. The way I felt, after the show, and the low number didn't have me believing it. But there it was. Don't know what else I have planned for the day.

 

We had some of that roll through about 11:15 last night. Grabbed a lawn chair and sat out in the driveway watching the show until the rain picked up, then moved into the garage. Show was over before 12:30. Looks like more coming in about 3 hours.

I love watching storms coming over the lake, sure wish I had a camera most times

 

I love the mountains, but when along the coast, just mesmerized when camping and hiking.

My neighbor just called and sent me this picture of the end of my road...that black fence way down there on the left. That is 3 feet underwater. My pond is now part of the road. Neighbor said we had 18" of rain in about 3 hours.
Hopefully my house isn't damaged. It sits back about 600 feet from where this pic was taken.

 

18" in three hours is a lot of water. I wish you could box it up and send it here. We have fish dying in local creeks due to low water and high temps. I don't believe I've ever seen it before.

evening / morning gang here - nothing bad yet - that's supposed to start in a few hours. Had the girls out for a potty break a bit ago and I had to drag Gizmo out - she hates the rain, but she finally did her business. Zoie went out and took care of #1 but wouldn't go Poop Waiting in the hopes that she will decide she needs to go before I get in the shower that's been her thing lately. Oh, well...
