My new lock for my tailgate was easy to install, watched the short, online video to see what pin had to be broken off and liner screws to loosen or remove. Took longer to work the screws over than placing the lock over the hinge on the right side. Had to orient the lock and get the key in the mechanizim (sp). All you do is place lock over the hinge on the right, lock the pin, replace screws, done. They supply a sticky cover for the key hole, I thought is was to place on the tailgate to warn thieves. ! :)

My nephews wife asked that I join FB again after I talked with her on the phone, so I could keep up with them and see what my nephews son was up to. A senior in HS already. Really!
FB suspended my account already, did not meet their rules. To appeal, you verify you are human and they want a selfie. Really? Have any here done that? Another reason I don’t like FB. I had just opened up an account for about the 4th time and deleted Friend requests.

good morning. Out late and slept in till 6:30 today. Some really good news, my cousin is going home on Friday. We will be taking her lunch on Saturday and Sunday. I need to figure out the timing for a pork shoulder I want to smoke on Saturday. It will be an interesting cook.

    YUMMY!

    Good news!

    Hoping not too much damage!

We got 1/8” of rain late yesterday! Yippee! Should have helped the firefighters. Temp dropped 20* almost instantly! High today around 70*! I’ll have to get outside and do some yard work while I have the chance! Get me some vitamin D!

Have a wonderful day everyone! Take care of your health the best you can!

I don't do it anymore. The only thing useful for me was the marketplace. I miss that but the rest of it was a chore.

Good morning porch pirates and Susan,
Last two nights have fallen asleep in my chair and went to bed @ 4AM and 1:30AM, takes a bit to get back asleep. Put my Sportster on Craigslist yesterday, dealers were only able to maybe offer around $6 grand maybe in trade, plus I wouldn’t want to load it into my truck as I worry about it coming loose and also loosing my balance and it falling over while trying to load. Did that with my KLR, dented the tank.

Park Fire in my region. Burnt up acres is over 421,000 now, personnel over 6600, have never seen so many working a fire. The resort in that area was saved, there are numerous homes close by though. The heat and wind have not cooperated the last couple days. Radio mentioned a number of aircraft dropping retardant.
Have been fortunate here as I’m SE of the fire so have only had one smoky day.

I have lots of wiggle room, although selling at a rock bottom price would still give me almost enough for a new ATV, with me only adding under a grand for an OTD price. Depends on how badly I want a new toy and how much of a loss I would take for selling real low.
