Good morning everybody! Hope you have a great day doing what ever you want to! Looks like a typical temp day here at 83*. Cloudy though and hopefully an afternoon shower.
    Be safe and healthy!

    Morning all:

Ended up being on the Eastern fringe of Debby here, just a little breezy and no torrential downpour, just enough to bring a lot of small dead branches down in the yard.

Hope both you and your wife are getting over your bout with covid Sprig, strange that it's still affecting a lot of people and virtually nothing is being said about it anymore.

:pccoffee: Good morning Porch Pals & Sue! We finally got 0.4" out of all that meandering pop up rain. Was going N to S early, then E to W when we finally got it. Not enough that I won't have to water tonight, but won't have to water as long. Stay well!

Good morning Susan, gang, with the recent drop in the stock market, my retirement amount has only gone down around eight grand, so not bad. Listed my Sportster in the For Sale-other section last night.
No inquiries on it off of CL yet. Called the Polaris dealer yesterday to put my name on an ATV, he asked, “did you sell it already”. :). Nothing but money, will have more next month too.
Even if I still had the money I spent on the HD last year, I likely would never make up my mind on where I’d like to move to, or even buy recreation property to park a travel trailer on and stay there in the summer. At least can dream a little. I’d be a snowbird, but would worry about snow damaging my place or likely run out of things to do if away from home, tied to electronics too much for an activity.

Saw a 58’ Porche rag top at the gas station, a little rough around the edges, but pretty darn cool. I my humble opinion that would more enjoyable than a trike

You are a prophet Kurt! Both my wife and I had the best nights sleep last night we’ve had in weeks. We are actually going to venture outside and do something today. I’m planning to get some sweet corn from this little country place that has the sweetest corn we’ve ever had . And I’m going to grill some Rib Eyes. Not feeling 100% but way better than I was. Happy days.

Good afternoon all. Busy morning so no time for TW until now. Hit the gym then took the Tacoma for a drive to get the oil hot. Changed oil, filter, and cabin air filter. Helped her put groceries away when she got back from the store. We're under a boil water advisory for 48 hours due to a broken water main. Wanted to cut the grass but backyard is still swampy from rain for 3 days.

 evening gang. Hope everyone had a productive day

I heard a little on one news segment but can't remember what they said :anonymous: But you are so right, one hardly hears about it anymore.

    :worthless:

Happy to hear you guys are better.

I was going to cut my yard but when I was heading out to get the mower,.... the sky opened up. It didn't rain all that long, but enough to get everything wet again. Chance of rain everyday for the next week :annoyed: Plus side, we should be out of drought status now

Talking to my mowing guy yesterday, he says he'll put on his mulching blades soon. Good news, since I'm surrounded by woods. I've spent way too many days raking, blowing. Don't care to start that chit up again this year. He mentioned gutter screens too. I doubt they would blow clean. IDC, as long as I don't have to pick chit out of them. Would be great not to have any roof work to do. I'm probably dreaming.

1958 Porsche 356 convertible…I dreamed of owning a “bathtub Porsche “ for many years. Settled on a 1967 Touring model for a couple of years. Too costly to maintain, but an awesome mountain winding road machine!

Hope everyone is doing well? My lady decided to share her cold with me! Sweet thing! Just in time for my fishing trip…UGH!

Got the solar finished yesterday on the Casita, so I’ll see if the 115w panel will work to boondock. May still take the generator as a backup.

58 this morning, but back to 90 today then high 80s. The cool front was a welcome break! 62 the high Friday! Brrrr! Long sleeve day.

Have a great day everyone! Take care of yourselves!

Good morning. Seems like all I have had is electronic problems since returning from vacation. I will take electronic problems over physical problems every day. I was at Costco early and they replaced mt receiver in the right hearing aid. Problem fixed. Got home and the internet and the cable TV service took a dump. Worked with Verizon for 2 hours on the phone and down to one set top box not working. The good take away is I can plug the internet feed from the Verizon Optical Interface Terminal, box on the back of the house, right into my router and do not need the Verizon G3100 router for that. I also moved the main set top box to the computer/music room, so it is easily accessible. The slave set top box in in the entertainment center. Error message says no network connection. Hard to fathom that since I have not had a COAX cable problem in that location before. I cannot turn the set top box on or off with the Verizon remote, so I think the problem is a defective set top box.
