I had a 1979 VW Bus for 4 years. It was a barn find, sat for 11 years in a neighbors garage. Figured out the reason it wouldn't run is the last place he took it to for work had the spark plug
wires in the wrong configuration plus a lot of other stuff. Took me a year to get it running. I had the best time cruising around the neighborhood in that bus!

Good morning. Hot water heater gets replaced today, Ouch $$$$$ Moved everything out of the room with the hot water heater so the house is a mess. I had a lot of BBQ stuff in the room. The county code now requires the expansion tank to be mounted on a wall.

Good morning all. Getting a Calcium Scan this morning. Wife said it would be a good way to spend a Friday morning. already had bloodwork this morning and a Biometric screening for my work health insurance discount. Blood pressure was 120/66. The physical work at the farm is helping with that.
Heading to the Longboat Key for a couple days tomorrow. Looking fwd to a rest and then back at it for the stretch run to finish our house at the farm by early October!
    Have a funtastic Friday!

    Good Afternoon

Just got back from the VA with my Brother . I had an appointment with Urology for a post surgical appointment

My doctor's were concerned over the bloody urine ive been producing so i had my catheter removed to see if my bladder was functioning correctly . They filled my empty bladder with warm water and all I could produce was 108ml of urine

My bladder was needed to be woke up from all the Anesthesia and other drugs during the surgery from 3 days ago . The Urologist told me to go to the snack bar and drink as much iced tea as i could and come back to Urology to measure how much is in my bladder . I had nearly 400ml in it and was able to release 195ml

after the tech measured the amounts and he consulted the surgeon and he was very happy with the results . That meant my bladder is functioning properly . And this is cleaning blood from my urine . This also meant that my catheter was not needed to be placed back into my urethra which made me very happy as that was very painful

The also gave me a urinal to keep track of the volume of urine i produce and create a log

    Afternoon all:

Sounds like good news Chuck!

Well, I finally broke down and got a new wheelbarrow, I think I got the maximum out of my old one, in other words, it's shot, and it was time to replace it, hope this new one lasts the duration!

GREAT to hear Chuck. Glad you can do without the catheter too! Just keep up the getting better part!

When mine died 2 years ago, I got the TWO wheel version for old people! Steering it is just like being old in a parking lot!!!:rofl::rofl:

So, I got a therapist I probably won't get again. He's a star, and "Best in County" news paper voting awarded. He said I would hurt tonight, and probably tomorrow, and after mowing, my body says "why wait!?"

    Evening all:

When mine died 2 years ago, I got the TWO wheel version for old people! [/QUOTE]

I have enough trouble with the one-wheel version with rocks, roots, branches, and ruts. Even though I have briars that sometime puncture tires I opted to go with the pneumatic tire, I want a tire that rolls smoothly and not have to struggle if I load it a bit on the heavy side.
Bought a Jackson, think it weighs at least 2X as much my old one, maybe that's because a lot of the old one is rusted away and was becoming a tetanus hazard!

rehearsing for our AOCS graduation one of the Marine DI’s “suggested’ a slight change of the command “Pass and Review” to “Piss in you Shoe”…40+ years later it still makes me laugh how funny the DI’s could be. Glad to hear you are pissin’ like a young Marine.
