    Good morning! Happy Friday, all.
Seeing a new cardio doc this morning, I would say for a second opinion, but the first doc didn't have an opinion...she was more worried about leaving the office on time. Then Monday I will see another cardio that was recommended to me by a family friend.

@Ridgewalker1 I'll check out that channel about kettlebells. I'll have to get back to an exercise habit now that rebuilding the place at the farm is less demanding. I have decent balance, but need to work on leg strength (quads). I find it difficult to get off the floor if I have to sit or kneel while doing work. I've always been a walker and it certainly helps the day start well when one can get out in the fresh air.

Good news from my neighbor across the road up there; the power at the farm came back on yesterday evening. I wont be able to get up there until Monday or Tuesday, though.

    Friday…yep kettlebell day again!

Plans for the day: grease Casita axles, install new sewer hose storage end caps on Casita and figure out a retainer so I don’t lose them again (GRRRR!), reprogram sprinklers to 1x/week, rake more leaves for composting (on going daily task this time of year!)

    Have a wonderful Friday everyone!

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals and Sue! Guess I missed yesterday! Got coffee, promptly fell back asleep in my chair. Got up in time to get to heart Doc, and that part of me works great. Hot home, fell asleep in my chair. Begged chicken soup for dinner, watched Only Murders in the Building, and was in bed by 9! Feel better today, hip therapy at 9 am.

I've been to both Moab and Lake Tahoe in the last month. Those places are thick with people that like to brag about how much money they can afford to blow. If it isn't a Tesla... it's a Rivian. One of the Teslas was set up with all the overlanding gear typical of the Taco crowd that wants to look like they are prepared for the apocalypse. I had to wonder what those kinds of accessories cost for a 130K electric truck. All I could think of was where in the hell a guy would find a charging station in the outback...

100+ today, tomorrow and the next 3 days. I am done with this heat. I live in Northern central California, it’s suppose to be warm in the summer with a few 100+ days, but this year 100+ has been the norm. A/C runs on and off 24/7 and this house is fairly new and super insulated. I’m praying for some cool fall weather and even some nasty cold duck hunting weather. Looking forward to putting on a hunting parka and a 40 mph north wind hitting me in the face. Ok, I’m done whining, thanks for listening, stay cool all.

If one can drive a cyber truck hauling along a generator in that capacity, he/she should have enough SSS protection. :spy::spy::spy::spy::spy::spy:

Good morning. Please, if you're the praying type...I ask that you would pray for the people that are reeling from this past hurricane, that they would find strength to continue through the recovery process. For those those that are still missing. For those that are searching. For those that are risking their own lives. For those that are providing medical care, shelter, food, and comfort.
Also a prayer that the next storm now forming in the gulf, that it would dissipate, and pose no harm to those that would be in it's path.
    Amen.
Have a wonderful and safe Saturday!
