I have 3-4 mature bucks at my place.
My resident does are bringing them in.
Hopefully I will run into one.

Good morning everyone! My young bud sent me this picture he took while hunting deer and elk last week. See if you can find the animal!
    IMG_5008.jpg
I have seen these numerous times in both summer and winter phases. Awesome little animals!
Cloudy today and 59*. Need to get out and blow the leaves again!

    Have a great day!

Good morning from Southern California... sun just about to come up, blue sky, chilly (for us) near 50°.
Since time moves faster (relativity) as we get older and have more years of experience with time, we should consider a 70s thread, yes? I turned 67 in September, and man, it was like no time passed since I was 65... like two+ years lost!??? Is it just me?
Is time moving by faster for you since you turned 60-something?

A little something every chance we get.
:rain: Finally Porch Pals and Sue! Finally; 1.41" that we had to wait most of the night to get! Big cells moving North as fast as East kept teasing us all evening. And it's only in the 60's tomorrow. A little wind to dry off grass would be great, but I'm going to get the yard attacked regardless.

Dr. office called yesterday, and moved my surgery back from Dec 10 to Jan 14. Dang it! This has just taken forever.

    Morning all:

I see what looks like an eye just off to the right of the brush pile center Phillip, my guess would be a wabbit!

Just got done voting, filled out the front and when I flipped it over the magic marker had completely bled through, filled out the back and now the same thing on the front! Now the ballot has black ovals everywhere, both where they belong and where they don't belong, I questioned that and was told not to worry because only the ovals filled out for the candidate will be read.
I use magic markers all the time, some paper they don't bleed through, other paper they will bleed through in varying degrees, how friggen hard is it to provide ballots made of paper they don't bleed through!
Anyone else have this happen on their paper ballots?

Then I made a trip to the bank to cash some checks, sorry, the systems down and only the ATM is working, now I need to make another trip to the bank. :annoyed:

Thank you for serving your precint...

Ca sucks, they mail ballots to every registered voter since COVID. lots of drop boxes but no more neighborhood voting places. I do not even know where I can vote in person here. glad I mailed my vote in 2 weeks ago. verified received and counted.

Just did my civic duty; this was the first time we've voted in Maryland, it turns out our polling place is about a 20-minute walk from our new home. :)

Well, maybe a little; my morning bike rides to get my radiation treatments dial my heart rate up in the 140-150 range; walking rarely gets it above 100. Once I've recovered from my cancer treatments I'm planning on getting my knee replaced so I can start running again; that has always been the one exercise which has worked for me; nothing like a nice 10-mile trail run before breakfast in the morning. :)
