60+ year old thread.

Good visit with daughter and her clan yesterday. Worth the couple hour trip. Wife drove both ways. Our old Lexus performed the two-hour trip without any complaints. Happy about that. Was good to see everyone again. Life is good!

Leftover day was always a treat, the cold stuffing that was left in the neck pouch was always one of my favorites, for whatever reason it seemed different than the same stuffing that was in the main cavity of the bird.

Hi Carl. Up in beautiful downtown Benton PA so not much shopping here unless we head to Blooksburg. Relaxing day today.
Had some Leftover mashed potatoes fried up with kernel corn for breakfast. Dinner will be turkey and stuffing and gravy . Love leftovers.

Are you going out rifle tomorrow? Haven't seen to many,outer staters or city yahoos up here this year. That's good for local hunters. Have a good day,and be safe out there

Yea, we will be going out tomorrow, not expecting to see too much after the dismal archery season that we just experienced, neither of us are looking forward to hunting season like we used to, maybe Lynns one grandson can get a spike or a Y which we can't shoot, that would make his day! Either him or me has to sit with his one grandson who is a jr. hunter, if I would have shot a buck I would sit with him, I did that 2 yrs. ago after I got a buck in archery, but unfortunately, we saw NOTHING!

Was just looking at some new scope rings, can't believe that some of the "PREMIUM" rings now cost more than the gun did!

This a Meater 2+ probe. It measures the internal temp of the meat and the external pit temp. A little on the expensive side but the associated app is robust with a lot of features. I would wait for them to go on sale. There is a sale going on now, but I would do research to see if this is the probe for you. Link to site. Good morning. I slept in so I will be going to the gym later than usual. I replaced a faulty Ground Fault Interrupt plug yesterday. I am getting too old for this stuff. I thought I still had one in my parts pin but no so it was, High ho High Ho it's off to Lowes I go. The military discount was nice, but the selection was poor. I think we are going out to a winery at 1pm today.
