Good morning Porch Pals and Sue! Riavaly week is pretty wild fun! My keyboard is completely shot, so I've got the phone for a while. New tower for the wife, and laptop for me on the way.

Good morning. My cousin was admitted to the hospital last night, so I was up late. Today is a prescription pick up and a hospital visit.

Nice relaxing Sunday. Went to the range yesterday, had a good day. Most everything in the 9 and 10 ring. Today I’m cleaning guns.i actually enjoy cleaning my guns after a shoot. Sitting at my work bench with a hot pot of coffee, listening to old rock and roll and country/ cowboy music. I find a certain zin cleaning guns. After I’m making a ham and wifey is making her awesome sweet potato pie. Just another great day in America.

 

Afternoon all:

, we got checked by the wardens this morning, apparently someone called them and told them that someone in a Dodge Ram shot at a deer from the vehicle, apparently they don't realize that a Dodge Ram is a truck and not a Dodge RamCharger like we hunt out of, it wasn't us and they wasted their time checking us out!

I disassembled the bolt on my buddy's 600 .350 Rem.Mag.to see how the firing pin spring looked, it looked like it was coated with some type of heavy oil, and I mean really heavy, which is not good, there are a few other things on a rifle that many overlook that should be maintained other than the bore, especially on older rifles.
I don't mind cleaning rifles so much, but the muzzleloader is a PITB to clean after firing it,

 

Nice to have those people around to do their job. We have poachers around here that waste a lot of animals and are rarely caught.

Growing up, and I am talking about from as long as I can remember, both my mother and father made is a point to visit their brothers and sisters, as a result all of us cousins are really close to one another. There were 4 of us about the same age that are extremely close, and my cousin is one of the four. I have a feeling that she is fading quickly. Her brother passed two years ago; he was the first of us four to pass. I will visit her in the hospital today.

Good morning. Thank you for all the prayers for my cousin, she needs all the help she can receive. Since her husband passed, she has been a basket case. She took a fall in the parking lot after a visit to her husband in the hospital and has not been in good health since.

A chilly 24 degrees here this morning at 06:30 with an expected high of 37 degrees. Going to be cold today.
