60+ year old thread.

The house is way too quiet this morning.

My wife is finally at rest. She had been in and out of the hospital for the last few weeks. Her body couldn't keep up, and it was multiple things shutting down and her colon leaking into her abdomen (sepsis). She was under 90# and frail. So we got hospice set up, and brought her on Monday.

Our daughter spent the night on Wednesday with her to be with her mom. The kids were over here yesterday and are finally going out for a late lunch. My wife had turned on a silly Hallmark movie, so we had time to talk about our wonderful trips to Port Aransas. She told me no more trips, maybe Weekend at Bernie's. Oh, she had a great sense of humor, which is why I loved her so much. She passed while we were resting in bed.

Morning Ken.
We got about 5 1/2 inches of white stuff here yesterday.
First time using the snowblower at the new place and figuring what "routes" are best for snow removal.

My cameras on the property slowed right down after lots of activity all Fall.
One lone doe the other night when the snow started...

All I get on my game cams are bloody raccoons! OK some cats and birds. Will check mine this AM

Today, pickleball 8AM - 10AM. These guys are bangers, need extra coffee. Indoors at a church gym. but at least concrete floor. I hate wood floor courts. And after Monday I'm back in the "no longer play under 50°F mode" again. I took this vow for a reason. Just not good to hyper extend that cold and can't warm stretch enough!!

Got some of my front Christmas lights up, need to do back of house and patio and trees!!

Need another choco-espresso. Bring it on!!

Good morning Porch Pals & Sue! Chilly and a little breezy here, in the 40's and not going to warm much. Fine with me. Still nameless pup is going to get "tutored" this morning. Yes, we've tried every name suggestion on for size, the best ones just get puppy looks! It'll come. Last night during the exciting Lions game, he actually got up on the chair in my lap without help! Big step. Then just curled up for a nap. Loves getting on the bed for wakey wakey. Still shy, but not skittish - think he likes his home choice.
